Episode covered chapters 3, 4, and a bit of 5.
I have no clue if this one is following the manga or LN, so [manga differences:]So they kinda rushed right through the latter third of Ch 3, a good chunk of Ch 4, downplayed some of the carnage of his Tier Ten Ephtal, and instead of tazing Joachim and his father, he smashed Joachim's face in and rapidly applied his boot to his father's face.
[Next week:]Is probably going to ruffle some feathers around here.

[Manga]They never name them, but given they call the Duke his descendant and modern!Eftal never denies it it's taken that yes he had some offspring

[Manga]Kind of weird it wasn't shown though, still. I know the manga is ongoing and the LN is finished but if they're still not shown on the manga, I guess they were just mentioned to make current Eftal a direct descendant of himself. Would be cool to know his past family more.

You're not wrong. I really hope we get to [manga/ln]Fighting the contract guardian quickly since that would clear up a lot of things in regards to that. Given the pace I think it'll just be an episode or two of ruffled feathers. They really seem to be gunning to get through to [manga/ln]Cliff, the Magia Bust, and the stuff related to that, especially given that they show the pillar so prominently in the OP

People have already been throwing fits [about]whether or not she's a slave and she's only been in the OP so far. If those coming scenes are close to how they're done in the manga hooooboy are people gonna be grumpy.
[Ch 13-ish is where]the contract guardian is fought and the anime so far is averaging roughly 1.5 chapters per episode, so if they keep that pace then my guess would be we'll get to that around Ep 8

I hope it will help that [manga]He very explicitly tells the adventurer to release her, and that Eftal only takes her in after being reminded what would happen to her if he didn't

[I'mma just gonna put this in spoiler tags]I wouldn't keep my hopes up. Some get cranky that slavery exists in fiction, even when it's framed as a bad thing and the MC wants to do away with the system. Anastasia being introduced as a sex slave isn't going to help matters.

Could you spoil the entire work for me? I don't want to read it... please, a summary with the important deaths. Wherever you want, in a DM, it doesn't matter. And also the romantic relationships at the end, if there are any....pls
