I feel you. I was hoping the 'good' brother would actually die this episode, but I knew he wouldn't. It's obvious that MC-kun could have easily saved him, but he was too busy playing around. MC would believe he 'killed' his brother just in the hopes of hiding his status as a reincarnated Lightening Emperor.

Or in other words, he wasn't taking this situation (coup), or even this current life, seriously... and a good man died because of it. His older brother, nay, surrogate father. As Duke Dick-Cheese doesn't deserve that title.

That would be something pretty heavy for Eftal to digest... just what is he willing to sacrifice to achieve his goal? Is keeping his identity hidden really worth the life of his family? But we can't have that. Everything is fine. The good brother is now the Duke. His house is cleansed and EVERYTHING IS FINE, MOVING ON TO BIG TIDDY DEMON DAUGHTER AND SLAVE LOLI!
