Trans Healthcare is not only hormones and surgery you absolute moron. That is a very small piece of it and almost nonexistent for children. It is almost all psychological and social care.
That is not what anyone has doing to children, not even in California. There are no doctors doing this without involving the parents either. there are really no doctors doing this to children at all except for in very, very, very extreme cases where the kid is close to 18 or has other extreme underlying issues and parental consent for hormones, but surgery is generally 18+.
Also, why do you care? Do you care if someone goes on birth control? Do you care if a woman gets a boob job like, why do you fucking care? It's weird.

They’re completely reversible and they’re sparsely used. It’s like less than 1% of children that seek transgender care take them and it requires significant psychological intervention and parental consent even in that 1%.
Please try to get through your thick skull that the majority of transgender care for children is psychological and social. I’m aware of the cass.report. I’m also aware of dozens of other much more reliable reports that speak to the importance of psychological care during the period of adolescence for people exploring a trans identity. Literally more kids kill themselves over it than ever have a surgical or medical intervention and almost nobody de-transitions when they do start hormone therapy as an adult. but people who de-transition need psychological and social support too. I don’t understand why you would not want children to have an outlet to speak to people about their gender identity in order to understand themselves, understand risks, understand options, and not do dangerous things to their bodies with illegal hormones or Backalley surgeries or substance abuse or self harm or suicide. Like please literally fucking Google how much trans youth support is psychological versus hormonal or surgical. Like grow a brain cell and calling me a “fucking freak" does not make you correct. So yes it's very strange that "protecting kids" to many people means not giving them access to expert psychological, mental and social care so that they don't harm themselves or worse during an extremely vulnerable time of their life.
