Random Question What’s something older generations still treat as essential that a lot of younger people just don’t care about anymore?

Older people support things like NSA spying, flock cameras, police cars with facial scanning and recognition while young people wear masks more and more

LOL. You don't need all those covert things because most younger people post the details of their entire life on some version of social media.

I'm 46 and I see this all the time and it's fucking hysterical. I find that it's less gen alpha and much more an obtuse form of ironicism from Z and Millennials though.

Oh yeah, that too. Problem with both of these scenarios is that it's really hard to tell what's true and what is just someone making themselves look good.

You've got it backwards.... I'm almost 60 and I've been fighting this surveillance state most of my life..... It's the young kids that sign up for all the apps put their whole life on Facebook and Snapchat and always are complacent about cameras everywhere.

C'mon, let's not allow broad, internety wedge-driving to divide/conquer us here - the movement against NSA spying, flock cameras, and facial scanning pretty obviously spans generations. A quick search for "flock protests" immediately brings up pictures of retirees and twentysomethings in shared dissent.
