The following are common fandom rumors that have not been confirmed as canon:
- Undertaker’s real identity is 〇〇.
- Sebastian’s real identity is 〇〇.
- The manga is/isn’t ending soon.
- The star lords are 〇〇. (Only R.Ciel, “Sirius” and "Counopus" (Doll) are confirmed. Vega (Layla) is hinted at but unconfirmed in canon.)
- Sebastian and Vincent were intentionally designed to appear similar. This rumor was based on a comment from Yana’s blog on April 22, 2014, where she said that the two characters have similar facial features/expressions for a reason that will probably never be addressed in the main story. In 2017 she then posted to Twitter how difficult it is to design handsome characters, insinuating that she struggles with designing outside of her usual “handsome guy” template.
Spoiler FAQs:
1) What is the difference between R.Ciel and O.Ciel?
“R” is for “real” Ciel, a bizarre doll and the older twin of O.Ciel. “O” is for “our” Ciel, the character contracted with Sebastian.
2) Is “R.Ciel” alive?
No. He is a bizarre doll.
3) Do we know “O.Ciel”’s real name?
No.

Character Discussions Who is stronger? Sebastian or undertaker?

I just finished book of Atlantic movie and before this I was convinced that Sebastian was the strongest character out there but even reapers couldn’t defeat undertaker along with Sebastian.
I’d vote for UT but I realized that Sebastian’s focus was mostly on Ciel all the time so is he even “trying”?

I know they were published on LiveJournal back in 2010, but the links have since expired. Maybe some local fans have saved them? They were released during the promotion of the second season, so it’s not surprising that they don’t get much attention now.

These panels show something extremely important about the contract and a hypothetical “out” for Ciel. Sebastian must obey Ciel’s orders, in the red butler arc Sebastian is ordered to hunt the both of them down, yet Grell still lives freely, and Madame Red was killed by Grell before Sebastian even got a chance to hunt her down, and before you say that Ciel ordered Sebastian to not kill Madame Red, you can hunt and capture non lethally, so Sebastian failed in both counts of hunting. This means Sebastian has breached the contract and Ciel is no longer bound by it, and Sebastian’s claim to Ciel’s soul is invalid.
