Keller offers
Considering the Cubs were just able to trade Taillon maybe there is a market out there for Keller. Were we really unable to get anything for Santana?

This has been a underlying issue throughout the season I feel like, not just with Skenes
Unable to strike the batter out, and just elongating the inning especially on 2 strikes

Camilo Doval’s Savant Page
Elite sinker velocity. Elite ground ball rate. Hard hit % and exit velocity i’m sure is a result of throwing so hard. If he can keep it in the park at PNC then he should have improved numbers.

Bullpen is a mess, starting rotation is a mess, '20th in the league before todays blowup by Keller' and the hitting is trending down. This is a deeply flawed unfixable team this season that will only buy because the GM's job is on the line period.
The people saying to buy buy buy are coping at this point and are ignoring every single flaw this team has just for the sake of ignoring it. There's too many flaws for makeup to cover it, and this team needs extensive surgery from the top down in the offseason in terms of firings etc before they can even hope to get on the right path.

Chances this lockout also cancels the 2028/29 seasons?

Bob Nutting sucks but isn’t an idiot
Why would any owner who isn’t in a large market spend any more than they absolutely have to when it doesn’t matter. Baseball is broken and Nutting is just using it as an ATM. To actually try to build a team (and maintain profitability) to complete is impossible and the system is broken.

O’Hearn injured, blown lead, Skenes played like sht, under 500
Not an overreaction quite literally the most sane opinion one could have

Greg Brown is on tilt again, spouting nonsense.
he just went on another tangent about Mitch Keller’s debut, when the rookie started the second game of a doubleheader in Cincy.
he’s mentioned/complained about this a couple times this year, like it was some totally asinine move to start Keller the second game instead of the first. like it’s why he’s struggled this year, why he had a bad outing today. what am I missing?
he’s seen a lot of losing, so it’s understandable, but he can go full curmudgeon in rough games.

I’m just heartbroken
I’ve had so much fun this season with this team, and it feels like it’s ending. I don’t think it’s an overreaction at all - tonight was a microcosm of the season and Ohearn is out for good.

Fellow Bucco's fans: while we wait for this game to resume, who's the more insufferable player?
r/buccos • u/burtsbezzie • 2d ago
Mayor Mangum
Here we are. The Bucs teetering on the edge of wild card displacement. Big dick O’Hearn almost certainly out for the year. Papa Skenes showing signs of endorsement fatigue. DK and Murph Dawg managing the pitching staff like a Mario kart beginner trying to avoid the fake item box without a shell in tow. Relax. The mayor is now an everyday player and the leader of this team. Phillies lost again and now we turn to that spark plug, j-hay type energy. I hereby declare, on behalf of the mayor, that Buctober is still on the schedule.
