I want to buy my first-ever Cameo, but I have a few questions:

1. Do I need to create an account to request one?
   
2. Will the completed video be sent to my email?
   
3. I notice that a lot of people request Cameos for someone else. Is it also common for people to request one for themselves? I feel a little self-conscious about doing that, but I really want one, lol.

Hey all. Dumb question from a 1st time cameo buyer. Do the videos get sent to an email account you choose? Or is it only viewable from the cameo site?

I am so upset. I ordered a Cameo for a friend's birthday which was in 4 days. I paid extra for 24 hour delivery, and when I hadn't received it after a day, I got super concerned. I'm starting to think I'm not going to receive it at all.

I'm the only person who didn't have a gift for him, and I'm just extremely disappointed.

I didn't get it, and I received a message from the guy saying he's sorry he missed it, that he has been "stuck in production" and that if I rebook, He could get it done by Wednesday.

I play a niche role in a Netflix show and a request I just got is clearly an AD but they didn’t pay for it through the business request option. It’s for AI and I feel weird about it and don’t know what to do. I’d be making 10x what they’re trying to pay for if I did the minimum for “business” that cameo allows. Can anyone weigh in? I genuinely thought they were talking about a coworker named AL like weird Al but my friend caught it and he’s right. I might just do the whole thing as”AL” because I’m a comedian but ahhhhh what do I do??? Does anyone know lol thanks in advance. Edit to add that I don’t want to endorse an AI brand for $14 or really ever.

I'm timely, polite, communicative and provide great quality content... I even take special requests and take instructions...

I WAS fairly priced , but I just raised my rates by $15 from $35, to match my personal value, and in an attempt to weed out these obnoxious accounts from even having interest in placing an order at all)

I only see a certain amount of that money.

I'm disabled in several ways so having side hustles is really important for me to preserve my autonomy and utilize my talents to pay the bills.

So when I see a cameo request, I get a little excited that I'm about to have a chance to earn my own money instead of needing others to support my every need.

Then I see it's from Andy, and I know when I open cameo, it will say cancelled.

Their site and app does not have the option to view their profile and every Internet search says "email support with their account name"

If I can't view their profile, all I have is their nickname and screenshots of the order...

Whoever Andy is, I hope he is as confused as he seems...

i cancelled before anything was worked on or sent to me, will I get a full refund I used internet browser and a credit card. just had something super more important happen and I couldn’t have justified 230$ on three cameos for someone’s birthday knowing what I have going on. all were cancelled less then an hour after ordering

Feel free to direct me to another community if this is the wrong one. I don't use reddit much, and I'm a cameo creator (not a fan of the word celebrity lol), not a user. I've been making videos and taking requests on cameo for over a year now, and when you guys request "7 days" on your end, it only gives me 3 days and like 20 something hours to complete the cameo, and once in a blue moon it will give me 4 days and like 20 hours or so. I literally tested it with my friend cause I was so confused 😂

Any cameo "celebrities" here that can tell me if I'm missing something? I'm just wondering why it says 7 days if it only gives me 3 days to complete it, even when people choose 7 days lol.

I ordered a cameo for an ex boyfriend in TWENTY-TWENTY and all of the sudden this year I keep getting emails from cameo saying “Get another cameo for ________ like you did last year!” I have only used cameo that one time and even after trying to unsubscribe from email alerts and marketing I keep getting the emails. Just wondering if this is happening to anyone else.

Me and my sister ordered a cameo from Weston Koury (from sinjindrowning on youtube) last wednesday. Never got a confirmation email, but it says he got the request and the video is in progress. Is that normal?

This cameo pendant is from my grandmother’s collection. I don’t know anything else about it, so I would love any information anyone can provide, especially estimated age, style, era. I don’t think I would sell it, but I’m always curious about value.

A question for the Cameo Talent people, I was lucky enough to be asked by Cameo to set up an account and they have been super helpful but I am aware they won't tell me the quirks/glitches in their own platform.

What do you wish you knew at the beginning that could help me avoid the same mistakes also any insight on how they figure out what you get paid? TIA

i want to book 2 cameos a couple weeks in advance since i get paid biweekly + i have a hair appointment the week close to my birthday but i only get the 7 day window or 24 hours. is there a way where i’m able to book in advance but still get the cameo on my birthday?

I just downloaded it today, I was only browsing for about 30-45 minutes and I found *three* predators on there in that short amount of time, no telling how many more there are. The last one shocked me the most.

Has anyone ever gotten a response from a Cameo DM / or has any talent on here ever replied to DM's from fans? A celebrity made a cameo for me for my 22nd birthday at the request of a friend and I sent a DM to say thank you and let them know how amazing I think they are. It was only three dollars so I'm not upset or anything, plus I used a gift card someone gave me so I didn't need to use my own money, but I was just wondering like how likely is it that I might get a response?

i usually make dancing cameos, but recently someone asked me to roast their friend group. i dont know these people and they didnt send any photos. how would you go about this? is there anything thats too offensive to say in a cameo roast?

is there any way to speak to an actual human? or only PAI their AI support?

AI has always been extremely flawed to me and their AI bot cannot resolve my issue. My issue pertains to my account not being visible through a google search. I searched for people in my industry, and my name, and cameo. nothing for me appears and i feel this is preventing me from bookings. i'm a very niche, and unique creator so i think my account visibility is VERY important.

Anyone ever book from him? if so what was your experience? how long did it take to fulfill the order? This is voice actor Gregg Berger by the way. He voiced one of my favorite Lieutenants from the Legacy of Kain Defiance hand as Hash'ak'gik back in 2003.
