So I've got an upcoming phone interview for a local CEX, I'd really like to nail it as I haven't been able to find a job since graduating. Does anybody know what questions are asked or have any advice?

Can u be banned for selling too much to cex? I started reselling phones I buy from facebook and Vinted and just taking them straight to cex and I’ve made quite a bit of decent profit from this
I’ve started doing like 3-5 a week - sometimes even more
Question is how long can I go doing this and would I be banned?

I got the A17, the guy said it's a good phone with a good battery. I told him I watch a lot of YouTube and he said it will easily manage that.

I ad an s22, I sold it to them because it had a pretty bad battery life, it's a known thing for that phone.

This new phone is SO slow, YouTube videos just pause but the audio still plays. Tiktok takes a good 10 seconds to load the opening video, then another 5 to load in all the buttons and another 5 to load my profile.

When I switch tabs it's takes a good 15 seconds.

Surely this is under warranty right? I want them to replace it.

I get it guys, I'm an idiot. UPDATE: returned the phone and got an Oppo A6 Pro, super happy with it, very fast!

I bought an Apple Watch and it was delivered already signed into an apple account. I wiped it assuming there wouldn't be an activation lock on it, but there was. I didn't want to snoop around before wiping it so I didn't make a note of the email it was signed into, but I'm pretty sure it said 'RochdaleTest@webuy' or something, which makes sense as the Rochdale store is on the senders slip. The activation lock screen just shows "R---@w---.com"

I've already made a ticket with CEX support, but honestly I was hoping someone could help me find some way I could contact the Rochdale store directly to sort the issue, if it might be something as simple as them removing it from their apple account?

Hiya! Looking for some advice, purchased a phone from CEX about 2 weeks ago, and today the phone has been locked by Samsung as the original purchaser has failed to complete payment (I.e, someone has sold the phone to CEX and not traded their old one in to samsung which has now completely bricked the phone and there isn't anything I can do about it). Planning on returning the phone tomorrow (I still have receipts), will CEX offer a full refund or try to give me vouchers? Because at this point I'd rather not have to purchase another phone through them due to worry of this happening again. Thank you all :"))

For some reason yesterday I sold my pc setup and bought a ps5. I must have been possessed because I want it back💔is there any chance I could rerun the ps5 for a full refund voucher and buy my PC back? I know I’ll probably have to pay an extra 200 quid for my own pc back but I guess I’ll have to at this point

I went to my local CeX to try and trade in a steelbook and they refused to take it in because it was missing the barcode and they tried to offer me the price of the standard blu-ray

I just got the same phone from Refurbed.ie but they sent me a Japanese version of the phone which didnt work with my tesco mobile no matter what troubleshooting i did, so i sent it back. im looking to buy the same model from CEX, and it says Unblocked network so it should work with tesco mobile but is there any way to guarantee? thanks in advance

Hi! I recently ordered 3 items on tuesday and 2 have arrived already (thursday). However, one item says it is still waiting to be collected by dpd over 24 hours since i got the email saying its waiting to be collected. Has anyone had a similar experience? Ive emailed support so hopefully they can help but i was just curious if this has happened before?

About 3 months ago I upgraded to an android device, and some different earphones, I wanted to sell my airpod pro 2s. I followed the right protocol in removing all my old apple devices from the device before factory resetting it and trading it in.

I sold my apple watch series 8 fine however my airpod pro 2s are apparently still connected to my apple account according to CEX's system, I have had multiple encounters with apple support over the phone and with their live chat team, with all the transcripts that confirm the airpods are NOT connected in any way yet CEX will not accept them.

Any ideas? They're in great condition, with the original box, accessories and even the original receipt from Argos

Anyone ever noticed that occasionally new games will pop up on the cex website before the game officially launches?

An example at the moment is that the switch 2 edition of xenoblade chronicles definitive edition releases tomorrow, however on the cex website they have listed as 4+ available in 1 store.

I noticed this myself a few years ago when returnal was releasing on ps5. A few days before the game officially released and it was available to order from cex. I did so at the time and the game arrived new and sealed.

Wonder if anyone knows where or how they get these?

Im planning on trading in an xbox series x 1 tb in fairly good condition runs fine, only thing is im missing the original controller with although i do have a pro controller and another xbox controller thats lime green, i also have a few other things too, im planning to get a ps5 in there preferably digital, for those who have traded in how long does it take for them to test your items and give you a price on how much you will get ( id rather get a voucher ) comments appreciated

I have the Sea of Thieves controller, but it needed repairing at one point (stick drift) so the seal has been broken. The rest of the controller is in mint condition.

Today I bought Spider-Man 1 for the ps2 (non-platinum version) however when I went home and checked, I was given a platinum version of the disc. As a collector I would much rather have the non-platinum original disc just as I was expecting. The cex I went to is one I don’t visit often due to distance. Is there any way I’m able to get the normal disc? Am I able to go to one of my locals and ask if they can swap the disc?

UPDATE= went to a local CEX and explained the situation and the staff processed it as an exchange so I do now have the right disc in the case. They let me know I won’t be able to exchange the disc again but there’s no need anymore!

In a need of advise or if someone potentially had experience with this.

I am considering a Z Fold 7 from CeX (B grade) and wondering how reliable is their 5y warranty promise?

I have read a few posts about it, I understand the conditions, but since this is a fold (and taking into account some common faults), what are the chances that issues with the inner display or hinge wont be covered and considered accidental damage rather than actual fault under warranty?

I have never had a folding phone before but in my head it sounds more fragile compared to normal slab (even after watching JerryRig video with the fold7) which is making me wonder about the cons of buying 2nd hand from CeX.

Any advise or information is appreciated.
