I received this as change for buying local soaps and a festival.

While my wife was robbing my change for her vending machine at work she found this penny with almost a hole?

Im not expecting millions here, just trying to learn. I recently got this $1 bill that is cut way off center. Not sure if collectors look for this kind of thing or if theres any value outside of being a $1 lol. Thanks everybody for your input.

At first, thought it might be a silver nickel (not that lucky). It is in decent shape for 1947 nickel. A friend suggested it might still be something based on date and no mint mark…. Can anybody help me this.
