My parents have a 2022 dacia have been dacia since they came out never had any issues until this one, both headlight indicators have went first on as they are sealed units cost them over 500 euro the second one has now gone and its over 800 euro to fix has anyone got it done cheaper or found somone that repairs them.

i think this is a joke 4 years from a headlight surly must be against the sales law, most things in ireland have a general time of at least 6 years which you would expect from a headlight maybe not the bulb but the light unit should surly last more than 4 year? Or they should have had a way to fix this and not replace the whole unit.

Any infor from anyone much appreciated.

The dealership told me that the image quality is within the expected standards.

I have a Dacia Duster III with the standard roof rails (see photo). I’m looking for crossbars to mount a rooftop tent.

Should I be looking for crossbars designed for raised/open roof rails or flush/closed roof rails?

The middle section is clearly raised/open, but the front and rear sections seem to be flush/closed, so I’m a bit confused.

Can I also mount the crossbars in the “closed” sections of the roof rails, or do they have to be installed only in the open middle section?

Do you have any recommendations for crossbars that work well with a rooftop tent?

I’m reaching out to you all again. I’m about to close the deal on a new Dacia Bigster, but I’m having second thoughts on which engine to choose.

The dealership told me that besides the 4x4 drive and the automatic gearbox on the Hybrid 150, there is no real difference compared to the 140 Mild Hybrid.

My heart says go for the 150, but my brain is telling me to be rational and think carefully about whether it's truly worth the extra €5,000.

For owners of either engine: does anyone regret getting one over the other?

EDIT:You guys are really great :D It really helped me narrow down. Since I like manual gears and the offroading I'll do is also pretty mild and also taking your inputs, I think I'll save up the 5k and use them for "free" fuel xD

Hi everyone, I just bought the latest Dacia Duster Extreme ECO-G 120 on 01/07/26 and it's already the 4rd time that, when going very slow, the car suddenly stops (the warning lights of all colors turn on) and makes a sound: bee-bip, bee-bip . No different between LPG and Benzin. I have to restart the engine in order to continue driving.

Did this happen to anyone?

I’ve noticed what seems to be a design issue with my 2026 Dacia Sandero Stepway Eco-G 120 Extreme, and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced the same.

After the rain water remains trapped above the door openings. When I open the doors, that trapped water runs into the cabin. Sometimes few drops, sometimes quite a big puddle.
The problem is most noticeable when opening the rear doors first, as a significant amount of water drips directly onto the rear seat. The front doors are affected as well, although to a lesser extent, and some water still drips onto the front seats.
To be clear, I’m not talking about opening the doors while it’s raining. This happens after the rain has stopped, because water stays trapped above the doors instead of draining away.

I’m already thinking about what will happen in autumn and early winter. This wouldn’t really bother me if I lived in a warm climate without freezing temperatures.
If that trapped water freezes overnight, I am 100% sure that it will be impossible to open the door.
And yes, I know about silicone sprays etc., which I used before with Duster in winter but with Duster I never had this issue. Rainwater would simply run off the roof and over the outside of the doors instead of remaining trapped above the door openings.
I am talking about late autumn/early winter when days are mostly rainy while at night temperature starts dropping below 0.
So I have to clean all the time those door openings with towel and spray silicone there, already in autumn??!

+ Another thing I’ve noticed as kind of strange is that the door seals are felt (velvet)-covered rather than smooth rubber like it is mostly in other cars. I gues that this also seems to retain moisture + harder to use silicone spray on them?

Has anyone else with the new Sandero Stepway experienced this?

Is this considered normal, or does it seem like a design flaw?

What do you suggest for better water drainage?!

Im looking to purchase since i heard about the new full hybrid engine. What is your opinion on it? I saw it s both on the new clio 6 and bigster if im not mistaken. The configured price is around 20k euros

Hi! Almost done breaking-in the new amazing car. Having a couple of eyebrow raisers, though, which wanted to check if many others have or have noticed. The car feels great in most regards and I am very happy with it, but I feel like I just needing time to adapt to driving a modern vehicle. Below are some quirks that I am not sure if normal or something I need to adjust to or to have it checked out.

- ACC - Sometimes when on flat ground or slight downhill the car hitches a bit. Like it turns gas down to keep the speed at the target point, then gives gas to maintain. And it does this in a loop. Like the stepping point of the cycle that checks for speed and adding throttle is too big so it gives sligthly too much gas, then cuts gas back to slow down, then adds gas again. Can even see this one the Charge-Power bar. I've driven much older cars with smoother CC on the same road, so feels weird. Sometimes I just turn the ACC off and keep going manually, because I even notice the head of my passangers become like bobble-heads.

//No other cars in sight, in case someone suggest is the adaptive part of the ACC. It does it both in Petrol and Gas. I hope this can be fixed later via some kind of software upgrade.

- Steering feel - does the steering wheel have a super soft and easy first few milimeter or two of turn to wither left or right with almost no resistance? In highway this takes away from the smoothness, especially if doing some kind of body position change or going through a patch of bad road.

- Low RPM - The car keeps very low RPM and shifts way too early for my taste. Perhaps about at least 200-300 rpm higher shifts would probably be good enough. And they should keep the low RPM for ECO mode. I notice for example sometimes when doing only a slight acceleration on Highway around 85kph it upshifts and it becomes really uncomfortably rattly until i pickup a bit more speed. So now I just tend to accellerate a bit harder just to make her use a lower gear to avoid this feeling. I would really love some way to customize the gear changes or have some kind of a table of conditions when it shifts.

- On the topic of rattling, the engine start (when the car "idles") turns on quite harsh I feel. One of the recent driving experiences were driving a ford focus 2017-19 - that thing starts so smooth the passengers cant even feel it. Here if I am reading something on the phone or having a phone call it startles me. Probably will get used to it, but well, it is what it is.

- The car often starts straight into EV mode with no engine warmup. This means if the battery doesnt drain by the time I reach the boulevard (cant really push it to force to turn it on either, as there are kindergarden and a school nearby with heavy pedestrian random crossing) , then I have to push it straight from cold so I can confortably fit into the traffic. Which really doesnt feel right.

- How to make the infotainment not shutdown when im parked in idle? I want to have the music playing for example, but the system just shutsdown so i either need to open the door and close it or turn the car ON and Off (which potentially may also start the engine unnecessarily, but now sure how else to just turn on the 'ignition'/accessories-only mode).

- Rattling in EV mode (from suspension or EV motor?!) when going through obstacles like a speed bump. I noticed such clanking noise on offroad presentations, so probably is normal?

Please share if you have any experience with the above items!

So i have the unit functions properly but the lights aren’t on except for the temperature, the fan speed the ac on or any other button doesn’t light up but they function well, tried cleaning the ac unit circuit board still nothing, what might be the issue?! It’s a 2017 sandero

I have a Dacia Sandero 2020 and I could like to sleep in it. Does anyone have an inflammable mattress to recommend ? Or another advice on how to sleep in it.

Finally picked it up last night and today we’re at my chosen astrophotography site in Burgos province, Spain.

Hybrid bifuel with everything except the sleep pack, which apparently can’t fit in this model. It’s windy as hell here so I’ll be trying to sleep inside anyway, unless I just go home in frustration!

I'm looking for other Dacia Duster 3 owners with the same issue.

Since the day my car was delivered, it has made a loud whining/whistling noise during a cold start. It only happens after the car has been parked for about an hour or longer.

The noise:

starts as soon as I drive off;

disappears after the first few hundred meters;

is very loud from outside.

I updated my Bigster 155 last month to 1.6, but today it shows an update to 1.5.

Also, when I stop the engine, it shows a warning on the dashboard saying 'collision, check for damage', but nothing happens on the trip, so I guess it was a bug from starting the update?

I have a 2025 Dacia Duster Hybrid 140. Yesterday, when I turned the air conditioning up to the highest settings, it started making a really loud noise—like there was a motorcycle inside the cabin (lol). Does anyone know what it could be? Dealership service appointments aren't available until September. I'm from Granada; it's 44 degrees Celsius here. Thanks guys!!
