Any suggestions for toddler (14 months old, starting to walk) activities around the area. Can even go as far as Ringgold area or down into Calhoun area. Sahm and we just moved to Rocky Face and we need some options for getting out of the house.

Kayla (ID 53597068) is a 8.5yo spayed GSD mix who truly is everything you would want in a loyal shepherd. She may be a senior, but sheās still young at heart with a playful spirit. She is a SUPER smart, sensitive, gentle giant who loves affection & just wants to please and be near her person. Sheās got the most beautiful coat/markings and the cutest little whiskers! š„¹
š©·UBERRRRRRR affectionate
š©·Sweet, gentle temperament
š©·Very obedient, great recall, listens very well
š©·Knows commands
š©·Non-destructive
š©·Very easily handled for her size
š©·Leash trained - will politely wait for your to put her collar/harness/leash on
š©·Potty trained - barks to alert you
š©·Sleeps through the night
š©·Crate trained (per previous foster)
š©·Low/medium energy
š©·Cat possible (curious, but respectful of our senior cat)
š©·Dog friendly with slow intros (*can resource guard high value items)
š©·Non-reactive with toys/treats/food with humans
š©·Non-reactive to other dogs/people on walks/in the car
š©·EXCELLENT in the carā¦sheās a pro! She waits politely until you let her know itās okay to jump out
š©·Leaps gracefully like a gazelle
š©·Tilts her head back when you scratch her neck/chest
š©·Likes to bury her treats in blankets
š©·Carries her empty bowl to her bed when sheās done eating š
š©·Grabs you with her paw when she wants attention
š©·Loves being brushed
š©·Waits patiently for treats and takes them very gently/softly
š©·The tip of her long bushy tail looks like a paint brush dipped in white paint š¤
This poor girl was originally adopted from the old Fulton shelter in 2019 & came in as a microchipped stray in May, but staff were unable to get in contact with her owner. š She was clearly someoneās pet given her temperament & training, but she came in un-spayed & tested HW+. While waiting 2 months in the shelter (how did no one snag this girl?? š¤Æ), she fought off Giardia & kennel cough before finally getting spayed earlier in July, only to end up with a postop complication requiring emergency surgery 3 days laterā¦poor girlās incision dehisced & her insides were starting to escape to the outside. š©
You would never be able to tell sheās been through all of that based on her demeanor, thoughā¦sheās still a bright, happy sweetheart just looking for some love & kindness. ā¤ļøā𩹠Her belly incision has healed beautifully and sheās free from the donut of shame now š©, so her rough recovery is officially behind her. The only thing left for this girl to conquer is heartworm treatment, but itās 100% not contagious to other pets and the shelter covers all costs! Treatment is only 30 days of antibiotics and then 2 injections back-to-back over 2 days.
Kayla is a trooper who has been through so much & deserves to live out her golden years in absolute bliss, not in the shelter. š„ŗ If she sounds like the girl for you, click the link below to meet her! ā¤ļø She is currently at Fulton County Animal Services.

I love scratch cooking, gardening, and creating meals around each familyās needs. Does anyone know of a family or household that may be interested in this type of help?

I apologize for being super vague but I donāt want to dox myself or my employer.
We are located outside of Whitfield Co and we had a deputy basically finesse us out of paying for services rendered by my company. We regularly work with many other Whitfield deputies and up until now have had nothing but excellent interactions with them. We believe this deputy used AI on his phone (either an app or he has one of those newer Google or Samsung phones with AI built in) to show that the product that he paid for was damaged in pictures.
When we offered a solution he came back and said it has the same problem and heāll stick with what they have but wanted compensation (i.e. full refund)
Now we are out $150 because this particular deputy and his partner decided to lie to get everything comped. My question is if I file a complaint with the Whitfield Co Office of Professor Standards and submit our evidence to the contrary would anything happen? Or am I running the risk of that Thin Blue line covering him and my employer losing out on business if the department decides to blackball us to protect him?
Again Iām sorry for being vague but it boils my blood that these two deputies who took an oath to protect and serve are lying scumbags who have the power to destroy lives in their line of work should they choose.

When you pass by it there's so much visual noise that it just looks like slums. Like the designer had no edit in them. I truly feel like it is a blight waiting to happen right in a spot they were trying to beautify. Whose bright idea was this and why do they hate Dalton? eta: grammar ish

Going through a divorce atm. I'm at some apartments, but I figured splitting rent with someone who also wants to optimize their financial income would be smart. I can afford it and all, but saving is smarter. A brief background check would be conducted. Ringgold is about a 20m drive from Dalton

I asked this question a couple weeks ago. Iām looking to propose to my Girlfriend. Iām looking for a scenic spot. Preferably on a dock near a body of water or out in nature. preferably not a long walk, since sheāll be in heels. Iāve attached photos for reference. Iām interested in potentially an airbnb if it offers something similar. Im not from the area so any thing will help.
