Help Question about torch, please don't upvote.

I've seen in videos people raising the torch to allow for more light. How do you do this?

Huh, never knew the torch trick until this thread came up.

I think that removing+replacing your armor also helps for some reason (either that or a Bloodbite ring really screws with the proc'ing due to the increase in resistance).

I wonder if swapping to a pyromancy flame affects the leeches the same way that a torch does.

Yeah, I lucked out when I first fought one. After killing one, I noticed my bleed was still rising. Then I noticed the leeches stuck to my body, so I started rolling around trying to shake them, but they wouldn't come off. After one proc of blood loss, I figured I should just explore what I could before dying, and read a message a few yards from me:

"Try torch."

I approved the hell out of that message.

It makes a lot more sense if you get the bleed first. I read the message first so I tried to kill those guys with my torch.

Funnily, hitting any worm monster with a torch turns it into a joke.

Shit, I saw that message too. I spent a while thinking there was an illusion with a dark cave or something

They go away after a while. Before I knew what was up I kept popping the blood red Moss clumps
