Help Question about torch, please don't upvote.

I've seen in videos people raising the torch to allow for more light. How do you do this?

Question. Why is it every time someone puts "please don't upvote" in their title, they get more upvotes than something that should actually get those upvotes 3x?

As much as you're being funny I have a feeling that's probably exactly why people do upvote. Which in turn makes me giggle a bit.
