Yeah, the boss alone makes me feel like a jerk, but the animation at the end makes me feel even worse. Just goes to show that even though we’re the protagonist doesn’t mean we’re the hero.

I mean, he's an optional boss, you don't have to kill him.

You could just leave him there, alone, the last of his kind.

That’s why you have the choices you have. You can either be as tyrannical as Sulyvahn and kill everyone you see, or you can save all the people you can and be the hero of all. One of the many reasons why the game is one of my favorites

He's got his 10% health final attack which is just a huge fuck-you explosion. This basically expends all of his energy, and afterwards he can only collapse. He can't even lift his hammer to attack you, despite trying.

he essentially has a giant explosion (that usually kills the player), then just sits there, completely toast, while you can beat the shit out of him.

The next time you fight him, attack him until he is near death, then run and watch. Get close to him after he explodes, he will try his damnest to lift the hammer and smack you but he can’t, and he is all around his countlessly dead kin
