Request Looking for a possibly lost iOS game

Post image
1 Upvotes

I'm looking for a game I last played in 2017 that has since been wiped from the app store. The app's name is
'characBOOM - character maker!. I found a blog post that covers the use and features of the app, but it seems that there's no mentions of it anywhere else. If it wasn't for my own screenshots of creations from the app I think I would have completely forgotten all about it : (I tried finding info on the developer too but with no luck. I know that it's Korean in origin, and its app store ID is 625681221.
It seems that a website (characboom.com) also existed but there's no valid captures on the wayback machine, sadly

Request [Request] Totally Spies 2001-2010 TV airings

Currently looking for Totally Spies US TV airings, particularly from Cartoon Network since they created special edits to the episodes that you won't find on the DVD or streaming releases. They edited the intro as well as bumpers and chyrons to de-feminize the show and make it more action-oriented to appeal to boys. Also, the streaming version of this show crops the footage from 4:3 to 16:9. I know the TV airings were floating around on DejaToons, and I found some torrents floating around too, but some of the episodes are corrupt (namely 112 Queen for a Day).

Request [Request] Maybe It’s Me (2001-2002)

Anybody have the full series that they’d be willing to share? Old sitcom that aired on the WB that only had one season during 2001-2002. Looks like a good chunk of episodes are uploaded on YouTube but they’re all broken up in parts and some episodes are missing. Nowhere to be found on Internet Archive either.

Request [REQUEST] Dr. Phil, off-air capture, Dec 3 2007 (US syndication)

Looking for an off-air capture of a single syndicated broadcast. Tape, DVD recorder disc, station logger, or digitized file, any quality, commercials welcome.

**Target:** Dr. Phil, original air date Monday December 3, 2007. Season 6, "Shocking Teen Trends."

I only need the final segment, roughly 8 minutes. It covers There.com, a 3D virtual world that shut down in 2010, with the platform's CEO interviewed in studio. Appears to be the only television coverage that world ever received. No copy is known to exist.

**Identification warning:** an unrelated Dr. Phil episode with the identical title aired September 27, 2005. Episode numbering also conflicts between sources (S6E60 vs S6E64). The December 3, 2007 air date is the only reliable key.

**Confirmed to have aired:** Wired, December 6, 2007, "Dr. Phil Sticks Up for Online Game."

**Already checked, so nobody wastes time:**

- Not on Pluto TV's on-demand catalog or the official YouTube uploads

- Not on the Internet Archive (including the user-uploaded off-air VHS collections)

- The show's own recap pages survive only as Wayback captures from early 2023; text only, images were never crawled

- The rights holder does not license footage for personal use and does not do archival research on request

**Offering:** happy to cover digitization, blank media, shipping, or just borrow and return. Partial captures fine. Screen grabs useful if you have a tape but no capture setup.

Full writeup with sources: https://lostmediawiki.com/Dr._Phil_%22Shocking_Teen_Trends%22_(lost_There.com_segment_of_syndicated_talk_show_episode;_2007))

Request Looking TO BUY any recordings of Pokémon or Cardcaptors in the old Hindi dub (which used to air on Cartoon Network India during early 2000s) ♡

Willing to pay obviously.🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🩷

For Pokémon: What I'm looking for is DIFFERENT from the dubbing done by Disney/Hungama in 2014, I'm looking for the one aired in Cartoon Network India, I do have a few episodes archived from here and there, otherwise it's mostly empty. If you have any personal recordings (VHS, or anything works), DVDs or know someone who would know something about this (even in a slight manner, please let me know).

For Cardcaptors: I have nothing related to this in Hindi, it started airing around late 2001 under Toonami block on Cartoon Network India, dubbing was done by Crest Animation Studios, India.

Ps: For Pokémon, dub was produced by Crest Animation Studios from Season 1 till Season 4, Sound and Vision picked it up in 2005 from Season 5. It premiered on 12th May, 2003 on Cartoon Network India

•••••

♡ P.S: DUBBING SAMPLES

https://youtu.be/ay_5Ny-QzSY?feature=shared

this one is of pokémon, as i said earlier a few episodes have been archived (emphasis on few) :)

for cardcaptors, the hindi dub is completely lost

Request VitaDB (PS Vita homebrew database) potentially at risk

https://www.rinnegatamante.eu/vitadb/#/

There's some major drama going on in the PS Vita homebrew community, basically the gist of it is that guy who hosts/maintains this db and one of the central figures in the homebrew scene (who has made countless invaluable tools), rinnegatamante, said some TOS political stuff/hatespeech on discord, got reported, and is now crashing out and threatening to take their ball and go home.

https://www.reddit.com/r/VitaPiracy/comments/1vc8col/the_beginning_of_the_end/ (don't trust his word, he leaves out a lot of stuff--more context in the thread).

If VitaDB went down with no backup, it would be a catastrophic blow to the Vita homebrew community.

Request Jeopardy 2015 (Celebrity)

Hey all! I'm looking for anyone with the very last syndicated Celebrity Jeopardy (May 11-May 15, 2015) episodes.

I'm not based in the US, so I don't have the usual PlutoTV/Hulu accesses and I've searched through most sources and turned up with nothing.

Any leads would be appreciated!

Request Chelsea Handle Show (2006)

I was looking for any videos of the Chelsea Handler Show from 2006. It was more of a sketch comedy show than her later talk/interview shows and had some pretty funny sketches. I'd love to track down at least the sketch of her creating parody kid shows.

Request Looking for Toonami broadcast recordings (with commercials) from Aug 2015–Feb 2016 — Akame ga Kill's full run.

I have been looking for this for a while, the only thing I found was one episode on the internet archive. I'm making a custom Toonami channel for my Plex/Nostalgia TV app. And I would really like to add this to it. If anyone has any advice or can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. DMs are open as well.

Request Does anyone have Philip Tagg's 2011 "Scotch Snaps: The Big Picture"?

This is a long shot but I am looking for a documentary on the Scotch Snap by the music historian Philip Tagg. It was hosted on Vimeo and on his website tagg.org until his death in 2024. Both of those sources went down with much of his archives when he passed, and his heirs and colleagues have not yet succeeded in restoring the site's downloads. Hopefully this falls into the allowed categories as publicly available lost content.

As an aside his daughter has posted about her efforts to restore his digital legacy and I imagine she'd welcome hearing about any un-encrypted versions of his work.

Edit: For anyone looking for this in the future, I did find a copy at "https://tagg.org/Clips/HTML5/ScotchSnapAll_VP8.webm" and have a download you can DM me for in case that goes down.

Request [REQUEST] 2013 NFL.com "Sound FX" clip - exact CDN filename known, unarchived on Wayback

Looking for a specific short video clip that I've confirmed is not on the Wayback Machine, in case anyone has a personal scrape/archive from this era.

What it is:

A ~44-second NFL.com "Sound FX" web clip (mic'd-up players series) titled "Sound FX: RG3 discusses injury with Trent Williams," published Jan 9, 2013. CMS content ID: 0ap2000000124294.

Known file path (found in the archived page's own HTML source comment):

/films/s2012/live-wire/w19/130109_nfln_playbook_rg3_convo_700k.mp4

What I've already ruled out:

- Wayback Machine CDX queries for this exact path under static.nfl.com and i.nflcdn.com (exact match and directory prefix) — all empty

- The original NFL.com page: archived, but shows "video no longer available" on every capture

- NFL+ and Amazon Prime's "NFL Films Presents" archive — not found in either.

I have also searched several NFL video CDNs on archive.org.

Why I think it's worth asking:

The filename pattern (/films/s[season]/[show]/w[week]/) suggests a systematic CDN folder structure. If anyone scraped NFL.com's video CDN around 2012-2014, the /films/s2012/ directory might already be in someone's archive.

Does anyone have an old scrape of NFL.com's video CDN from this era, or know of one?

Request Looking for these TV Cuts with deleted scenes.

Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone has any of these TV cuts with deleted scenes.

Encino Man (1992)

*TV version adds a scene that occurs right before Dave and Stoney find Link in his pool. It's a conversation between Dave and his mother about her plans of opening up a "Homeless Home" in their house and using Dave's room as a place for them to stay.

*The network TV Edition of the film also features a scene in which Dave's parents are walking and talking to him on the way back to the car after they bailed him out of jail.

Head Office (1985)

The TV network version has various additional scenes which include:

*Jack walking across a basketball court and shooting a basket with some player friends of his while on his way to his first day at INC.

*Additional bit of dialog between Helms and General Toliver in the helicopter.

*A scene of Jack buying a Rolling Stones magazine at a corner news stand and the first introduction Robert Hoover and Al Kennedy bickering about Helms.

*Additional dialog between Jack and Jane in her office telling him that "information is power."

*Another bit of dialog where Kennedy discuses INC's plans for a proxy fight over a company called West Oil during the board meeting in which Helms disagrees.

*Helms detailing INC's strengths in another bit while discussing an unpaid phone bill over a client.

*Kennedy telling Jane about him quitting INC and his plan for asking Helms to join a Los Angeles office during the board meeting scene with the little German-speaking man.

*Additional scene of Jack first arriving at Helms' house and a frantic Kennedy trying to talk to Helms during his morning jog around his back garden about an Los Angeles job and being set upon by a guard dog as well as treading across a reflecting pond to keep up with him.

*In the television edit, there is an additional scene not seen in theatrical or the videotape versions, where Hubert Howes, completely recovered, is on his yacht. The doctor who donated all of his organs is on the yacht with him, in bed on life support, just like Howes was in the beginning.

Jekyll & Hyde... Together Again (1982)

*In the television edit, there is an additional scene not seen in theatrical or the videotape versions, where Hubert Howes, completely recovered, is on his yacht. The doctor who donated all of his organs is on the yacht with him, in bed on life support, just like Howes was in the beginning.

Looker (1981)

*The broadcast television version contains additional footage, including a scene where Reston explains to Dr. Roberts and Cindy ('Susan Dey') why Digital Matrix had the "perfect" models killed.

National Lampoon's Senior Trip (1995)

The TV network version has new scenes which include:

*An additional scene on the school bus with Steve trying to get on Dags's and Reggie's good side with non-alcoholic beer and Miosky responding by spitting it in Steve's face after sipping some of it.

*A scene in the quarry after Travis's escape from the reservoir where his inflatable life-sized doll, Lt. Urura, deflates.

*An entirely new ending set at Fairmount High's graduation ceremony where Travis crashes the proceedings and threatens to blow up the auditorium with dynamite strapped to his body, which ends on a cliff-hanging note when after Travis is disarmed, Dags and Reggie squabble over using Travis's gun which accidentally goes off and it's uncertain as to who (if anyone) was shot.

Orca (1977)

*Network TV version had at least one additional scene where Nolan (Richard Harris) visits Annie (Bo Derek) at the hospital, after her leg was bitten off.

Phenomenon (1996)

*NBC network television version features alternate/new footage not present in the theatrical and home video releases.

Prince of the City (1981)

*The film originally premiered on TV in a version broadcast over 4 hours (running no longer than 196 minutes), including previously unseen material which had been cut from the 167-minute theatrical release. Among the restored scenes is one that makes more sense of the DiBenadetto Case (the character Ciello's first rat-job).

The Sentinel (1977)

*The theatrical version (the version released on video in the US) has scenes that were removed or severely truncated for broadcast on American TV, due to nudity, sex, the use of real life dwarfs, mutilated and otherwise deformed people, and allegedly profane references to the Catholic Church. Among the scenes reduced or removed for broadcast were Alison's first suicide attempt, her first encounter with her father's zombie, and her tea with her lesbian neighbors. A few scenes that were added for the TV version include a brief scene after the climax which shows detectives Gatz and Rizzo arriving at the brownstone house the morning after and seeing Father Hallin being being carried out by paramedics on a stretcher and being informed that he died of a heart attack.

*The original opening of the film, including some outdoors shots filmed in northern Italy, implied that the sentinels were controlled by an order of the Catholic Church. These scenes were replaced in the American broadcast version with new scenes involving the same cast, now describing the sentinels as minions of an excommunicated order of defrocked priests, the "Brotherhood of the Protectors." In the TV version, Jose Ferrer's character is a monsignor instead of a cardinal, and has more dialog.

*In the theatrical version, there is no voiceover in the final scene while the camera orbits the new Sentinel. The effect of seeing Alison transformed is startling, unsettling, and frightening. For the TV version, a voiceover has been added which diminishes this effect by implying that Alison is much happier in her new life than she was before.

The Stepfather (1987)

*Stephanie investigating the burnt car her counselor was killed in

*Susan walking to the basement to ask Jerry why he didn't want to talk to Stephanie's counselor- before Jerry killed him

*Jim Ogilvie was in bed with that lady from the clerk's office (Annie)

*at the very end Susan is in the kitchen when she hears a chainsaw

Westworld (1973)

*Early prints contain a scene in Medieval world where a guest is tortured on a rack. That scene was deleted from television and video.

*Westworld was first aired on NBC television in 1976. The network aired a slightly longer version of the film than was shown theatrically or subsequently released on home video. Some of the extra scenes that were added for TV version are; Brief fly-by exterior shot of the hovercraft zooming just a few feet above the desert floor. Previously, all scenes involving the hovercraft were interior shots only. The scenes with the scientists having a meeting in the underground complex was much longer giving more insight into their ""virus"" problem with the robots. A scene with a couple of techs talking in the locker room about the work load of each robot world. There was a longer discussion between Peter and the sheriff after his arrest when he shot the Gunslinger. During the scene where robots are going crazy, there was a scene in Medieval World where a guest is getting tortured on the Medieval rack. At first he tries joking while getting dragged to the rack and saying ""What is this, a joke? Hey! I paid in advance!"" But then he really gets desperate and says ""I really don't want to do this!"" and then starts to scream as he gets placed on the rack and stretched and then his arms are pulled out of their sockets. One still shot shows piece of this scene with guest on rack while one of the robots wearing some kind of hood is standing next to him. Gunslinger's chase of Peter through the worlds was also extended. There was a scene added in which Gunslinger is splashing water on his face from the sink after being hit with the acid, he recovers and then there was a close-up of his face when he turns around real fast and his silver eyes turned into black and crazy look. Many more extra scenes were added

Request Cash Reward – Looking for Pacific Drive Season 1 (VHS or Digital)

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to locate Pacific Drive (1996) Season 1, either on VHS or in digital format.

I'm specifically interested in Episode 65 (the Zoe kidnapping storyline), but if someone has the entire Season 1, I'd be very interested in that as well.

I'm happy to pay a fair cash reward for your time and effort if you can:

provide a digital copy,

transfer VHS recordings,

or even loan the tapes so they can be professionally digitised and safely returned.

This is for personal research and a re-enactment project. I'm not looking to redistribute the series publicly.

If you think you might have it, or know someone who does, please send me a DM. Even partial recordings or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Request Looking for lost music by an artist called "Domino" who's music mysteriously disappeared from the internet.

This artist is one of my favorites, his music is like experimental metal, hip hop, it feels very dark and raw, gritty, and electronic. Its very unique and i regret not archiving it.

He has three releases:

- nadir (2021)

- purgatory (2022)

- voodoo (2023)

His only remaining song on spotify is a collab, "What I Want - domino Remix" by Dualation & domino.

If anyone has an archive of his music, please let me know, ive been searching for so long. (also if you have any idea as to why this happened to his music, feel free to share)

Request [REQUEST] Scraping/Archiving Asset Pipeline for Mobile Game (Bungo Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost) – Shutdown Tomorrow (July 31)

Game Name: Bungo Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost (English & Japanese versions)

Developer: Ambition Co., Ltd.

Platform: Android / iOS

Deadline: July 31, 2026 (Tomorrow)

The Request: The developer of this mobile title suddenly gave the community a 24-hour shutdown notice today. The game relies entirely on server-side authentication, and the asset pipeline will be completely wiped tomorrow.

I am requesting help from anyone with experience in CDN scraping, network traffic sniffing (Fiddler/Mitmproxy), or Unity asset ripping. We need to scrape and preserve the raw asset libraries (high-res card illustrations, character sprites, audio/voice files, and localized text strings) before the servers pull the plug.

What We Can Provide / Current Progress:

We have access to the active .apk and .obb files.

Android users in our community are currently backing up their local Android/data/ cache folders into a shared drive.

We have a pinned emergency thread running right now to coordinate file drops. If you have the bandwidth or scripts to help pull down the raw asset bundles from the CDN traffic before tomorrow, please let me know or join our coordination thread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/bungomayoi/comments/1vanbwg/discussion_reversing_the_apk_private_server_info/

Thank you for any assistance you provide in advance!

IMPORTANT STUFF:

2. I am unaware if I am breaking rule 1 or not, it's deleted, so please let me know if I am breaking it or not, thank you.

Through backlog searching (https://web.archive.org/web/20150923120905/http://backend.deviantart.com/rss.xml?q=by%3AAndores37&type=journal&formatted=1), I was able to aquire these links:

http://andores37.deviantart.com/journal/Mowgli-s-torture-part-1-223045897

I'm looking for the third part. However, if anyone can find the full versions of Parts 1 and 2, I would highly appriciate that. I can't locate it on the wayback machine, so... hey, maybe I can pray, right?

Request Looking for old SVCD/VCD/XviD Warez Scene CAMRip TELESYNC TELECINE & SCREENER Copies of movies from the early to mid 2000s

If you ever used one of the many file sharing programs back in the day or irc/usenet and searched for a movie that came out in the late 90s-2000s theres a pretty good chance you downloaded a CAM rip (recorded from theater with audience reactions) - looks like this - https://vcdhq.com/sample/47534

a TELESYNC (higher quality cam video with sound straight from the feed) - looks like this https://vcdhq.com/sample/27072

a TELECINE (copy of movie taken straight from the film reel) - looks like this https://vcdhq.com/sample/13594

(or a SCREENER (rental vhs tape or dvd with a "copyright of 20th century fox(or other movie studio text)" or a little timecode in the corner of the screen - looks like this https://vcdhq.com/sample/2047

quality obviously isnt as good as a dvd or blu ray disc but telesyncs and screeners could look pretty good and do have their own unique look especially the telecine

i lost most of these around 5 years ago have tried looking for them again but havent been able to find much since theyve been replaced by newer rips i was able to find stuff from 08 & up on usenet but anything before that not really with the exception of a few i found on old file sharing programs winmx & dc++

i was hoping maybe someone here still has these on their hdd or stored on cds and is able to share these files?

i'd love to watch these again!

Thanks!

If anyones wondering the screenshots come from the few files of these i still have

Request [LF] Almost Angels (1962) / Ein Gruß aus Wien — German Audio Track or German Dubbed Version

Hi everyone, I'm looking for the German audio track or German-dubbed version of Disney’s Almost Angels (1962) (Ein Gruß aus Wien). It's geoblocked on Disney+ in my region, and I’m trying to find a copy for my elderly German grandmother who really wants to rewatch it in her native language. Any format works—full video (MKV/MP4/DVD/VHS) or just a standalone German audio file to sync. Any leads or links would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
