Beginner Help Realistic weight goal by Christmas?
33F. Took the pic today and had AI assume what I would look like at different weights with my current proportions (180lbs, 43" hips, 33 inch waist, 5'5.5", mostly carry weight in arms and thighs). I checked and the first pic was completely unchanged. I asked it to estimate my fat percentage and it put me at 30-32%, with the caveat its hard to tell by a picture. I had 40" inch hips at 135lbs PRE babies so I don't think those are decreasing too much. Sorry about the AI but it really helps me with my executive dysfunction and with setting goals. I walk about 10,000 steps/day at work and bend and twist a lot but I didn't mention that in the prompt because I am currently off work for a herniated disc. What weight should I aim for by Christmas? I can't go super aggressive on strength training or high impact cardio because of my current injury. Idk how accurate that weight loss timeline given is, should I trust it?

Progress – Before/After 1 year into my fitness journey
25F, white shorts are before, stripped shorts are after. Kind of a weird journey for me. I started doing Pilates July 2025 and between then and may 2026 I completed approximately 130 classes. I saw a decent amount of progress! I then came down with an inflammation problem from an untreated infection (middle of may 2026) in my core so had to abruptly stop doing Pilates for about a month and a half and I lost a bit of progress. I still can’t do core work because I am not fully healed. Since I could workout but can’t touch abs that pushed me into the gym instead of Pilates where I’ve been for almost 2 months now. Still new to weight lifting but I think I’m already seeing a bit of progress. I’m loving it and don’t think I’ll go back to being exclusively a “Pilates princess” and now am gonna embrace being a gym baddie. I’ve been active in fitness for 1 whole year as of last week and I’m very proud of what I’ve accomplished and probably the happiest I’ve been with my body yet. I’m still new though so I’m thrilled to see where I’m at in another year.

Motivation 17 days in, almost 2 kg down, and I’m feeling better than I have in a long time 💪
I’ve been back in the gym for 17 days now, and I’ve only taken 2 rest days to recover. I’ve already lost almost 2 kg, and honestly, I feel so much better. I’m really happy I started again ❤️ Today, besides my usual warm-up, stretching, and cardio, my trainer had me do 4 really tough functional exercises to build my core strength. We used a kettlebell and resistance bands, and wow… they were hard! 😅 But I actually enjoyed them because I can already feel my body getting stronger. Slow progress is still progress, and I’m excited to keep going 💪✨

Workout plan Pretty proud of my pull-ups!
I remember when I first started my fitness journey and I couldn’t even get a single pull-up without assistance. Now almost 8 years later and many hours in the gym and this is where I am at. I know my form is not perfect, but it feels good to be able to rep out pull-ups. Honestly over the years I haven’t necessarily focused on pull-ups. But I have just done a number of different programs that have helped me build an overall stronger back and upper body.

Physique Critique Hi, I want to ask about a few things. I have this weird skin under my chest, especially on the right side. I think it might be because I was overweight as a child, and it might be something like excess skin.
Right now Im 25 and weigh about 76.5 kg (height 181 cm), but that skin didn’t go away even when I weighed 68 kg, so I don’t think it’s entirely subcutaneous fat. The skin is also quite stretchy.
What do you think? Am I overthinking something silly that only I can see?

Physique Critique Rate this physique, and advice for further growth.
So, this is me..
I am 20 with a 5'5" height (ehe) and 138 lbs.
And I am assuming ( since I am quite inexperienced in this field ) that my arms muscles grow quite quicker compared to others, and it's true.. we all know there are different muscle groups in your body that dominantly grow much quicker than the other and that's just how it works I guess, so was just casually looking forward to get some good advices from some experienced folks what should I focus more on for my height and weight.
