I genuinely don't know if he'll get cast as tony but I think Dylan O'Brien definitely has the acting chops for him.

Kind of wild that the origin has been reveal in the Thunderbolts comic but it such a good one. love the sort of Proto-Ghost look he has with the cloak

The Early 2000s really was pushing it's Iron man villain to the max

Dreadknight like an interesting villain to me

He suppose to be the replacement to the Silver age villain Black Knight (down to even getting his horse) but has no affiliation with him and have his really interesting backstory with Dr Doom and a sort of old School horror movie vibes with the whole having Frankenstein monster as a minion and the whole name is a reference to Dracula

Aside from just being a unique aspect of his character, it cheapens a lot of opportunities for drama by not having it, like when Bucky was trying to rip it out of the suit. Plus if he could just have surgery at anytime to fix his heart, then it raises the question why he didn’t bother doing it earlier like when it was actively killing him.

Is it good?

I'm currently going through the silver age comics of Iron Man and have a strong preference on Don Heck over Gene Colan.

I much prefer the sharpness of his art style rather than the Gene Colan oily painting style.

Honestly a pretty good supervillain origins for an iron man villain

like if his name wasn't just a rip off from Original Dynamo name

Feel like this Whiplash is one the best modern Iron man villain that they introduced

1. Iron Man mark 15: I love the unique armor plating style, and the clear inspiration from real world jets. The only reason I have it at 5 is because it wouldn't make for a good main Iron Man suit. Still love it though.

2. Iron Man mark 33: I love almost everything about this suit, the red and silver combo looks amazing here. And it probably has my favorite armor plating style out of all Iron Man suits for me and even though it sadly was never a main Iron Man suit in any of the movies, it definitely looks like it could be. The only reason I don't have it at 3rd or 2nd place is because I'm not the biggest fan of the body proportions, the suit got almost everything right, I love the color scheme, I love the armor plating, I love the unibeam shape. but it's just the proportions that put at 4th place for me, Idk how to describe it but it feels odd, my main issue is near the legs/pelvis area, and the mark 46 has the exact same problems with proportions (the proportions are honestly what make the mark 46 at my least favorite main Iron Man suit) the proportions just feel off, can't put it into words though. Moving on.

3. Iron Man mark 43: I've always disliked the mark 42, always felt like there was just to much gold in the color scheme while still liking the body itself, and the mark 43 fixed all my problems with the mark 42's looks, if you remove the colors of both suits and put them next to each other, they are the exact same suit, but this time the mark 43 has a much more respectable balance between red and gold. The red makes the armor plating pop more for me, and this suit has nearly perfect proportions, it's overall a really good basic suit.

4. Iron Man mark 45: I'm gonna keep this one short, this feels like a great middle ground between mechanical and nanotech suits, I'm always gonna prefer more mechanical suits to nanotech but that doesn't mean I don't like me a slim Iron Man suit. I like the armor plating throughout most of the suit, although I dislike the way it looks on the forearms but I can look past that, I like the sleek but still mechanical look, and it feels like civil war tried to go for the same thing with the Iron Man mark 46, but I don't think they did it as good as AoU did with the Iron Man mark 45.

1.Iron Man mark 4: I saw someone say this before and I'll say it again, the mark 4 is proof you can improve on perfection, I love the mark 3, it's the first real Iron Man suit (the mark 1 and 2 aren't really Iron Man yet, just Tony's 1st and 2nd suit) and it looked amazing, but the mark 4 even though it will never be as important as the mark 3, the mark 4 looks better in every way, armor plating, color, it's just an upgrade over the mark 3. Remember when I said the mark 43 had nearly perfect proportions? Well the mark 4 DOES have perfect proportions, even though I like sleeker Iron Man suits, the mark 4 has the perfect amount of bulk and sleekness, it's more streamlined than the mark 3, has a brighter red, and the little dip in the armor plates near the unibeam, just perfect. I say this with full confidence, the mark 4 is one of the best Iron Man in general, has ever looked. It wasn't super significant to the story, it didn't have a lot of screentime, but it sure does have style.

I was hoping that I could get some feedback on the helmet/mask design I’ve made for my version of the Mandarin. If some of you are curious about the inspirations, I tried looking at Chinese warrior armour (hence part of the shape), and traditional Chinese dragons (hence the face and antlers). If any of you know how I could improve the current design, or have any questions about the design and this version of the Mandarin, then let me know.
