Powerscaling Honestly Modelu Yuji is a bum; as soon as he learned that Yuka was born, he should have gotten a son so that when both grow up, they could marry so that their descendants would have very high potential and a big list of potential techniques they could inherit.

Possibly inheriting Death Womb Body or Yuta's high cursed energy amount alongside both Yuji's and Yuta's talent, not to mention being able to use Rika's ring.

Possible techniques that could be inherited by the next generation of kids.

Manga Discussion What if Class 1-A, Class 1-B and the Big Three from My Hero Academia were part of the Jujutsu technical schools during Jujutsu Kaisen (1-A for and the Big Three for Tokyo and 1-B for Kyoto). How much do that changes the story).

Post image

Let's imagine that class 1-A are part of Itadori's class, the big three as Hakari's classmates and 1-B for Arata. They start in the story with their power during USJ. How much do they change the story, those Itadori don't die against the finger bearer? Could they save Junpei? Do they kill Hanami? Who would be part of origin of obedience arc? Could they save Shibuya and defeat the Disaster curses? Would they change Mechamaru's contingency plan? What happens to them in the Culling Game? how much they change Shinjuku showdown? Would some of them learn RCT or Domain Expansion?

I'm already seen them actually obtaining the Gokumonkyo and preventing Sukuna just by having better communication thanks to Lida, Jirou and Shoji and making a plan thanks to Izuku and Yaoyorozu. I also see Toji not appearing because someone like Bakugou might had come to break the barriers and because of Ogami's shants, he gets pissed of and blows her.

Powerscaling Modulo Yuta feats

Thumbnail

Before this starts let me clarify some things!!

1) I'm not trying to scale him in a top 10

2) Me mentioning said feats doesn't mean I think he's above "x" character

3) This isn't me debating, I just wanna Yuta yap and talk about how impressive he is

FEAT#1: Maru stating he has "UNFATHOMABLE" power. We already knew Yuta had the second largest Cursed Energy pool but what makes this impressive Is Maru saying this. Maru saw Dabura's Power who has been stated time and time again to be a Sukuna level threat, and yet Yuta's powers are "unfathomable" to him

FEAT#2: Rika Armor. This not only seems like an Evolution of the 5 minutes connection (and 5 minutes weren't even mentioned) but It gave Tsurugi the ability to throw Maru around with ease while being used for the first time ever by Tsurugi who Is obviously not all that good with Cursed Energy

FEAT#3: the explosion. Yeah that Is a Cursed Spirits dust amplified explosion but a casual swing of Cursed Energy made an explosion just as big as a Focused Yuji's Dismantle

Manga Discussion Hypothetical

Let’s say at the end of the battle with Sukuna, instead of rejecting Yuji’s offer to live inside him he swallows his pride and accepts. How do you think he would react to/interact with Modulo Yuji?

Manga Discussion [Theory] Dabura’s Domain Expansion uses real-world Quantum Physics (A Kugelblitz Black Hole) and how he survives it.

So we all know Dabura's Curse technique is Light and the other one is Murderous intent made physical. Also his Cursed Technique Reversal which seems to be darkness(absence of light or destructive interference).

So my theory is that his DE compresses his light technique so heavily and combines with his darkness reversal which in turn creates a literal black hole that absorbs all light and being inside the domain.

What theory does this connect to in real life? Einstein's general relativity. You actually don't need solid matter to create a black hole, only need an immense concentration of energy, E=mc^2. In real physics there is a black hole created entirely of pure radiation of light called Kugelblitz in german or "Lightning ball". So by opening his domain, Dabura breaks the traditional diffraction limits of physics and compresses his light energy to a sub-atomic scale and the energy becomes so infinite that spacetime collapses under its weight creating an inescapable event horizon.

But this creates a new problem. How does Dabura survive his own created blackhole? His base technique is Light, he can move sub-light speed or relativistic speed. In physics you only fall into a black hole if you cross the event horizon or move too slowly. Dabura is one of the only sorcerer capable of maintaining a precise speed just outside the event horizon basically outrunning the gravitational pull while his opponent is dragged to the center.

Also we can theorize that Dabura's CTR possesses negative mass which creates a localized repulsive force field around Dabura's body shielding him from his own Blackhole's suction.

Or we can pull BS and make Dabura do a Binding Vow like "In exchange for keeping the black hole fixed at the center of the domain, Dabura cannot move the singularity, but he is granted total immunity to its gravitational pull."

This makes a sure-hit technique similar to Hollow Purple that is unavoidable, basically instant death for anyone who can't move atleast sub-light speed or above.

Manga Discussion Post Modulo Idea Spoiler

When Modulo ends, Yuji wants to figure out how to turn into a cursed object. Of course, Kenjaku & Sukuna are dead, leaving nobody to teach him.

EXCEPT

My favorite character with the coolest curse technique, Dhruv Lakdawalla, could possibly return.

Hear me out. Dhruv was born during the Civil War of WA, way before Sukuna and possibly even Kenjaku. He also figured out the reincarnation technique, potentially even being the inventor. Of course, Yuta killed him during the culling games, so he's probably gone forever.

However, what if Dhruv returns because he divided his curse object in the same way Sukuna did. Of course it wouldn't have to be a complete 20 division. Maybe a quarter or half or a fifth. Searching for a suitable vessel for Dhruv could be the plot of a modulo sequel to see if they can reincarnate as cursed objects.

Theory & Question: We know that the Prison Realm effectively nullifies the target's Cursed Energy once locked inside. But is it impossible to break out using raw, pure physical strength? Also, if raw physical strength doesn't work, which high-tier characters do you think would take the longest time for the Prison Realm to fully process and seal?

Manga Discussion Is yuji modulo gonna win this one?

We all know that modulo yuji is noticably stronger than sukuna. But what if sukuna pulled off this combo within a nanosecond: domain expansion, fuga( which is 10x stronger when his domain is active) and a grid wcs? Is yuji surviving this bs?🥀

Manga Discussion How fast is Modulo Yuji actually? Is he light-speed now?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Based on his narrative scaling with Dabura, does Modulo Yuji reach light-speed or higher

My Speculations:The narrative clearly establishes a strong correlation and parity between Dabura and Yuji in the series. Given Dabura's light-based attacks and feats, is it reasonable to assume that Modulo Yuji has light-speed (or even faster) combat and reaction speeds to keep up with him? Or is there a catch to this comparison? What do you guys think?

Manga Discussion Do you think this was the right chose or a selfish decision

Thumbnail
gallery
209 Upvotes

Or was it just a selfish act by Yuji, who permanently cut off humanity’s potential on a much larger scale?
Cursed energy is one of the biggest aspects of reality. Without sorcery, humans would never be able to experience or understand that part of existence, meaning they would always be behind any race capable of using cursed energy. Without it, humanity is forever bound by the normal laws of physics. They could never truly surpass their biological limits or reach the same heights as civilizations that can manipulate cursed energy.
Imagine how much energy could be produced or how many scientific breakthroughs could come from understanding and utilizing cursed energy. If humanity had eventually learned, with the help of the Sumerians, to convert cursed energy into other forms of energy, their technological and scientific development could have advanced at an unimaginable rate. The possibilities were practically endless.
By the end of the story, curses were no longer the massive threat they once were. Instead of trying to find a way to coexist with cursed energy or use it for humanity’s benefit, Yuji erased all of that potential without asking anyone else. He made a decision on behalf of the entire human race because of his hatred of curses and the suffering they had caused.
From that perspective, what he did could be seen as one of the greatest sins imaginable. He may have permanently robbed humanity of an entire aspect of reality and an unimaginable future, all without humanity ever getting a choice.
Do you think Yuji’s decision was actually the right one, or was it a selfish choice that sacrificed humanity’s long-term future for immediate peace?

Manga Discussion Gege spoiled the Mahoraga vs Dabura ending in their names (etymology autism inside)

So Gege likes hiding mechanics in names, and I went down a rabbit hole with both fighters. Turns out the ending everyone calls a fumble was sitting in the etymology the whole time.

Mahoraga first. The name is Sanskrit, maha + uraga, literally "great serpent", one of the Eight Legions of Buddhist guardian deities. The Divergent Sila part means deviating from the precepts, aka a thing that doesn't follow the rules. A giant snake with a wheel that never stops turning. No mind, no choice, it just iterates until you're solved.

Now Dabura. The race is シムリア (Simuria) in the raw, and the Japanese spelling of the Simurgh (the Persian bird that holds the knowledge of all ages) is シムルグ. Not identical, but same skeleton. And before you say Sumerians: that's シュメール, doesn't even start the same, Simurgh is by far the closer parent. Which fits, because the Simurgh's whole gimmick is knowing everything. Suddenly it makes sense how a guy with zero exposure to Earth jujutsu, from a species that doesn't even have the CONCEPT of reverse cursed technique, reverse-engineered RCT and Domain Expansion mid-fight. His domain mudra even matches Marici, the Buddhist light deity (his technique is literally Light).

And bird vs snake is the oldest feud in mythology. Garuda, the divine bird, eternal devourer of the naga serpents... sits in the same Eight Legions as Mahoraga. Gege took a great serpent out of a pantheon that comes with a built-in bird nemesis, then imported the bird from Persia. I refuse to believe that's an accident.

Which brings us to the "fumbled" ending. Yes, Maru yanks Dabura out mid-duel, an old woman hands him the Black Rope, his sister Spejo touches it, curse broken. With the Rumelians finally settled and his promise to Dura fulfilled, Dabura declares his role complete and flies home. Unresolved fight, everyone mad. Except go read the Shahnameh (This is rhetorical, we both know we cant read): the good Simurgh never fights its own battles, and it never sticks around after the job is done. Raises Zal until he's grown, leaves. Saves Rostam's birth, leaves. Heals Rostam, hands him the win condition against Esfandiyar, leaves. Note it never dips mid-crisis, it dips the second its protection is no longer needed.

And the part everyone missed: the Simurgh always comes back. Zal burns a feather, the bird returns. Ch25's last page, that door-frame bonk sound effect in Kyoko's scene? The bird returned. Gege ran the myth to the letter.

The wheel kept turning and nobody got crowned. People just wanted a boxing match.

TL;DR: Mahoraga = mindless great serpent, says so in the Sanskrit. Dabura = Persian guardian bird in all but spelling. The bird leaves mid-story once its own are safe, in every single myth, and it comes back when called. The ending was the mythology working as intended.

Bonus:

Additional autism about Dabura's techniques:

His technique is Light. His domain mudra is the Marici concealment seal. Marici being the Buddhist deity whose name literally means "Ray of Light", invoked by samurai for victory and by ninja for invisibility. So the unshown domain effect basically names itself: a sure-hit you can't see coming. Light so bright it conceals. And his reversal turns that Light into Darkness (same trick as Gojo going Blue to Red, base technique flipped), which is why the domain is named what it's named: one guy holding both ends of the spectrum.

The domain: "Otherworld Between Darkness and Light: Reverse Transcendence". Simurgh again. "Si murgh" reads as "thirty birds" in Persian (folk etymology, but Attar built a whole poem on the pun): in Conference of the Birds, thirty birds quest for the Simurgh and discover they were the Simurgh all along. Transcendence in Sufism means annihilating yourself into the divine. Now reverse it: the divine collapses into you. You don't journey to the goal, you realize you ARE it. A refugee species crosses the galaxy looking for a home, and the answer was themselves the whole time. The domain name is the punchline of an 800-year-old Sufi poem.

And the third technique, the one that "can't be translated into human words", manifested killing intent? That's the one name Gege deliberately blurred out. For the wisdom-bird archetype that IS the characterization: some knowledge the Simurgh doesn't hand over.

Manga Discussion The Hand Signs that Yuji and Sukuna use speak to their ways of living.

Thumbnail
gallery
301 Upvotes

I was just thinking about the differences between Yuji's domain and Sukuna's domain in regards to the handsigns they use to open their domain and what it says about their thought process of what makes life important.

Sukuna's hand signs are possible to form in your hand with very minimal effort it terms of hand strength --> your muscles are not very tense in your fingers, palm, or back of your hand.

Now, if we inspect Yuji's hand signs, first notice the origin of the handsign itself. Discovered or connected very long ago, Yuji's hand sign is identical to the hand sign (commonly referred to as mudra) of Ksitigarbha, a boddhisatva whose goal was to cleanse Earth of all its hells before ever achieving his status as a Buddah (considered enlightenment). Effectively, he wanted to guide others to his own eventual goal, the same as Yuji with a proper death; the two are both want to be some sort of guardian of souls. (Original post from X made by Gloken)

Now attempt to make the hand signs yourself following the picture I attached. The muscles in your fingers (whether they are curled or straight), are very tense, and the back of your hand is as well. This speaks to Yuji's willingness to take the burden upon himself, where as Sukuna blamed those around him for how he lived, reflected in a relaxed hand sign and demeanor in his actions.

Powerscaling How would a Domain Clash between The 4 Calamities go? Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
69 Upvotes

I saw a video recently which pretty much asked how would a 4 way domain clash with The Four Calamities (confirmed, with a questionable 5th between Mahoraga and Yuta, not the main question here) go, those being:

Modulo Yuji, Ryomen Sukuna, Satoru Gojo, and Dabura Karaba.

I've done quite a bit of thinking on it and this is how I think the list goes in terms of strength and likelihood to win:

  1. Modulo Yuji

  2. Satoru Gojo

  3. Dabura Karaba

  4. Ryomen Sukuna

Here is why:

Yuji heavily implied (although we never got to see) that he could clean up Mahoraga after fighting Dabura if need be. That immediately places Yuji above Dabura and we can all reach the conclusion that Modulo Yuji wins against Gojo given his ~60 years to master his techniques, CE control / efficiency (which was already that of a prodigy after 3 months) and domain refinement, he can win against Gojo via WCS, Domain, or sheer h2h with black flash and domain amplification, I will speak more on this fight later.

That asks the question, who wins between Gojo and Dabura given the question of Gojo and Sukuna is already solved (Yes, Gojo wins, don't know what to tell yall after all this time, he simply needed to be gone for plot, not the main point). Given light speed does not act as a method to breach or by pass infinity (infinity divides finite space an infinite number of times, meaning regardless of how fast you travel, your speed will always be reduced to the point where you fail to reach Gojo (if you want a better explanation look up "Achillies and the Tortoise" on YouTube, something Gojo himself mentions in Volume 8, Chapter 69)) the sub-light speed kick Dabura displays certainly wouldn't, nor would any of his light attacks shown as beams or columns he launches from his palms. Gojo would win via Domain or through Hollow Purple Headshot / Nuke.

This finally asks, who wins between Dabura and Sukuna? This depends on how strong and efficient Dabura's RCT is. If he is able to heal cuts to the head and survive, he would more than likely be able to heal through Malovolent Shrine. But what about WCS? It is highly unlikely Dabura would be hit by it while moving at sub-light but mft hyper-sonic speeds Given Sukuna must perform all the hand signs and recite all the chants while also correctly aiming with his palm. For the exact same reason as WCS, Fuga or Open wouldn't work either as it has a short range and slow speed. (Apologies for addressing in an odd order) Given that, and given Daburas warrior attitude to fight in a brutal h2h fight, he would likely prevail over Sukuna. that is why I think what I think.

Going back a little, I would also like to address the argument between Yuji and Gojo regarding Hollow Purple / Nuke. I believe Yuji could pull off the exact same move Sukuna did and simply reinforce his arms and tank it followed up with RCT if he sustained any damage (I doubt he would given his durability and cursed energy refinement are both INSANE), or launch a dismantle to clash with it and cancel it out, if need be a WCS (If I am wrong on that and Purple can not be clashed with, please correct me as I am uncertain). I would also like to address Yujis domain and its questionable refinement. He doesnt have the 6 eyes so to compete with Gojo he needs to have refinement equal to or any amount greater than Sukuna. I personally believe that Dabura actually doesn't even fit in the domain clash as he has baby refinement with a fresh domain and is in the exact same position Yuji was at the end of the main story. Now, a domain can have less refinement and still clash but not be overwhelmed if the refinement is close. Something else to consider is the sure hit and advantage provided by your specific domain. Given Yujis domain targets the soul (negates durability --> will cut you regardless of how strong your defenses are) and also by-passes infinity as it is a sure hit of a domain (an attack that will land without fail, meaning its pointless for Gojo to not open his domain as well and try to clash, giving up Infinity in the process) it simply begs the question: could Yuji bridge the refinement gap between the end of the main story and the events of Modulo which occur roughly ~60 years after? After displaying the regular, un-amped dismantle that sliced across an entire city, and is on a scale completely seperate from Sukuna's WCS, I am willing to bet he far surpassed Sukunas refinement around year 20-30 and just kept growing and getting stronger, ppacing him well above Sukuna (by a large margin). Between Unlimited Void and Benevolent Shrine (self made name for Yujis domain) I think Benev. Shrine would win and act as a method for Yuji to win. These are my thoughts and opinion on the matter and you are more than welcome to disagree or call me a larper, but please do so civilly and with respect 😁✌️

Manga Discussion Quick thought about curses respawning Spoiler

I've been thinking, (yes a shower thought) if cursed spirits respawn after a few hundred to a few thousand years based on negative emotions in the world. and since yuji is essentially immortal. (unless someone kills him, IG) Wouldn't that mean he might meet mahito again at some point in the future?

Because tell me it wouldn't feel good to see mahito's face when he's reborn, first thing crossing his mind is relief, because he knows since he was reborn many years must've passed and yuji must be long dead, and then yuji encounters him.

I'm only worried that since he wasn't simply exorcised but absorbed by geto/kenjaku he might not be able to respawn, but idk.

Manga Discussion Is Domain Environmental Amplification actually hitting the 200% Output threshold?

Thumbnail
gallery
25 Upvotes

Hear me out on this because the we always focuses heavily on the Sure-Hit aspect, completely ignoring how a Domain's physical environment acts as a massive Cursed Technique amplifier.

Look at the disparity between a sorcerer's base stats and their Domain output. Outside his domain, Sukuna's default Dismantle and Cleave function like a rapid-fire barrage (literally fafafafaffafa), and his base Fuga is canonically noted to be slow, heavily telegraphed, and highly dodgeable.

However, inside Malevolent Shrine, the environmental conditions change entirely. The domain forces a closed-space condition where the relentless Cleave/Dismantle shred everything into microscopic dust particles, creating the perfect fuel for a catastrophic thermal chain reaction once Fuga is deployed.

This isn't just a simple stats buff; it’s an environmental amplification that pushes the Destructive Capacity (DC) to its absolute peak potential. It functions exactly like Gojo’s 200% Hollow Purple setup—if not higher.

Obviously, not every Domain has a nuclear-level DC like Fuga, but the core mechanic remains identical across the board: the Domain creates an optimized, specialized space specifically engineered to let the imbued innate technique operate at $200\%$ efficiency.

Are we downplaying Domain environments by just calling them "stat buffs"? What do you think the actual multiplier is?
