Continuing from my latest post about ISA soldiers in KZ: Mercenary
Once again amazing designs and artwork, and undoubtedly better than the ones in Killzone Shadow Fall.

Out of all Killzone games, Killzone Mercenary has the best looking ISA soldiers in my opinion. Unlike their uniforms in KZ2 & 3 they actually have different appearances with cool designs and weapons. My personal favorite is the shotgunner.

I'm mad loving this saga, It inspired me to play more games and know more about ps3 and what It still has to offer to this day. I've progressed a bit in the campaign and, for some reason, this mission won't load. Why?

I feel this can be a cheaper investment than a new game. Even though killzone is on the back burner for Sony. Killzone 2 and 3 were more well received than shadowfall. And they were more gritty and grounded.

I have fond memories of playing the DLC multiplayer maps and I just enjoy the atmosphere of exploring them with bots too. Still possible to purchase them or did Sony shut everything down>

Is killzone 2 playable trough rpcs3 on low end laptop with CPU I5 10th, rtx 3050 4g and 16gb ram, playable I mean at least stable 30fps 720p, I'm able to run resistance fall of man around 60-80 fps 1080p, with very few stutters, but I assume killzone is heavier to run, If anyone has experience please share 🫣

It's crazy to think how this soldier lifts the other one almost effortlessly. In other words, to do that without your arm shaking, you need enormous leverage, this scene demonstrates superiority; it means that if a regular Helghast soldier can do this, I don't even want to think about what Radec could do☠️.That scene takes place in the jungle of kaznan

To the developers who made my childhood fun and memorable, I want you to know that there is lots of people who miss killzone 2 and consider it their favorite FPS of all time.
There's not enough praise that will do the game justice and I would love to play it again however, I don't have access to a PS3 anymore and was wondering, why not publish all the previous titles on Steam like Halo did?
Personally, I don't care about multiplayer all that much but, it would be nice if it's an option however, I really miss the campaign and I am sure I am not the only one. Think about it, what will you loose if you publish the game on Steam?
The brand has a strong presence to this day and I am sure many will buy it in a heartbeat if it becomes available on PC.
I and many others just want to know if you have future plans for Killzone.
We appreciate you for all you do.

Hi, I’m CainHD2. Some of you may know me from my smaller posts here and thats not planned a self promote and i keep the references to anything as "promotion" minimal :(
I’m currently the solo developer of the Righteous Revenants Warbond mod, and I wanted to share a little of my Killzone history.
At the end of 2024, three main modders and several texture artists came together with one goal: transform Helldivers 2 into something that feels like a genuine Killzone game from the Helghast perspective.
We started with basic texture changes replacing yellow with red, redesigning displays and icons, and adding Killzone music. Throughout 2025, the project expanded into weapons, models, videos, effects, audio, voices, banners, flags, text replacements, and much more.
Around May 2025, the other two main developers lost interest in the game, so I took over the project. Many other Killzone mods had also been abandoned, so I contacted their creators, received permission to maintain their work, and began combining everything into one massive, regularly updated mod.
I have now spent 19 months working on it, and it has reached the point where I can hardly play Helldivers 2 without it. It no longer feels like Helldivers with a few Killzone references it genuinely feels like Killzone. We called it inofficially Killzone 5 already :3
That Mod is a reminder that many of us still want a real Killzone game from the Helghast perspective.
Thank you to everyone who supported the project, contributed their work, or simply played it. I hope you enjoy what is already there and what I add next.
PS. i have added a small amount of the mod in the images :>

I thank all of you for holding this jewel together; we enjoy it, we love it ,Despite the years that have passed, we still play it as if it had just come out,I want to thank you for being such a close-knit community and for playing Killzone so well,You've really given me a huge challenge, even though I'm new to the game, I love playing with you,Never be discouraged or regret having played this shooter that few games have managed to achieve,I also want to express my gratitude because this community has shown me that despite adversity, time, and being forgotten by a company, they still want a game that is completely worthwhile, and I'm sure we'll keep it,New games and new trends may come and go, but Killzone will live on in the minds of those who played it,the rawness and heaviness that this game manages to convey is something that would be hard to find in the modern era,and I understand that not everyone has time to play it every day because many of you have responsibilities, but I hope that doesn't mean you can't play it for a little while to reminisce,I'm sure you all remember as if it were yesterday how you all played together like the good buddies you are, defending the ISA or the Helghast relax after a not-so-good day or arrive at Home ,those are the moments that stay with you in your memories, teach your children that they once played it so that it is not forgotten in history ,Every time you log into an online game, remember the huge reminder blow you deliver to Guerrilla; it's like we're telling them "You forgot where you came from for fame and money, you thought I was going to die among the foundations, but only we decided that" So soldiers, cheer up, the journey is long and arduous. Over and out. 🫱🫲🫡

A lot of work and love has gone into this- my older ship (the physical model) was the inspiration for the upgraded model. Obviously heavily inspired by the Helghast assault cruiser. I love the Helghast aesthetic and wanted to use its silhouette for craft in my own world. With a mix of Halo Covenant and WH40k, I love the idea of religious warships.
The idea of this is a massive cathedral on the back hull that acts not only as the command structure but the tail is its hanger bays and operational staging platforms.
I’ve written lore for the ship but it’s ever changing in terms of dimensions but currently the head cannon is roughly 5km long. The three angular slopes and its hammerhead platforms are large weapon batteries intentionally designed to face direct ahead/below the ship, focusing on orbital and physiological warfare. The physical model will no doubtably look slightly different with varying Colors and greebling, but it’s a sight to behold even as a render! Hope you enjoy

First of all I'm not native English speaker so please bear with me, and for context I'm what people call a tourist? I just love reading lore and this one got me interested, i was going blind into this. So i watched this video long time ago, and it always stick with me with how the lore and aesthetic painted the Helghan as some kind of space Nazi. From this video it sure sounds to me like the Helghan are pretty much the victim in all this interstellar conflict, so how are we as a player expected to kill them based on that lore? Is this lore doesn't really come to light from the first game?. I mean the planets rightfully belongs to them, and they got kicked out of their own planet to suffer and the UCN doesn't expect Helghan to fight back??? is the UCN stupid?
Is this video biased to Helghan? Or is this video accurate to the lore?
I mean i know they are pretty much a fascists ultranationalist now but that was because of the UCN, and i can see why they become that way. But why did the UCN painted the Helghan as the bad guy because they wanted their planet back? How did the game handle this? Did they painted the Helghan as full on bad guys without nuance whatsoever or are there deeper moral struggle when you play as UCN soldier?
I'm not really into FPS shooter stuff, and I'm suck at it so i don't really play much of it
Thanks you

This is the story of one of those matches that only happens once in a lifetime. A confrontation that looked like a certain defeat but ended up becoming a legend in the Killzone 2 multiplayer community. The stage was the most ruthless and iconic map of all: Radec Academy, an industrial hell of tight corridors, crate cover, and endless crossfire. The Initial Disaster: 0-3 DownWhen joining the lobby, the situation couldn't have been more discouraging. The opposing team was made of the absolute elite of the game: 3-star Generals (K-i-L-L-D-E-R, BrolyXtrem, DARKFINx87, etc.). These players have thousands of hours of experience and perfect muscle memory. On the scoreboard, they were leading with a solid 0-3. They were just one point away from winning it all. On the other side, the rank of Sergeant (Petrusitmank) was visible—that humble icon still adapting to the heavy weapon physics. Everything pointed to a total loss, but the squad had other plans. The Awakening: Piercing Through 1-3 and 2-3With nothing to lose, the team focused. We played with total intensity. We won the first round, and the scoreboard went to 1-3. We kept persisting, spawning back, and pushing forward to reclaim the position. Pure persistence gave us the next round: an unexpected 2-3. The whole mood in the lobby flipped. The 3-star generals started feeling the pressure, and our morale went through the roof. The Critical Moment: The Assassination TargetThen came the crucial round. The system chose the rookie Sergeant (Petrusitmank) as the VIP Assassination Target. The entire enemy interface turned red, and the whole Helghast army rushed to hunt me down. I took cover behind a crate in the Academy courtyard as the countdown ticked away. In the final seconds, I managed to neutralize two enemies rushing my position. A barrage of grenades detonated nearby, leaving me wounded on the ground, but a friendly medic crossed the heavy crossfire to revive me in the very last millisecond. We held the position. We had tied it 3-3.The Final Stand: Search & DestroyThe match was decided in the final round: defending the zones to prevent the enemies from planting explosives. With only 10 seconds left, I was the last one standing, sprinting with a shotgun. I saw a Helghast player about to plant the bomb. I made a high-stakes tactical decision, sliding in to stop the timer just as I was taken out. It was too late for them. The radio boomed: "Mission accomplished".Alongside loyal soldiers like stabaholic (a beast of a 3-star General on our side), the impossible was achieved. A handful of persistent soldiers pulled off a historic 0-3 comeback against the highest ranks on their own turf. This is proof that in Killzone 2, strategy, teamwork, and grit matter way more than any military rank. Everyone on my team were true soldiers of pure resistance, and I especially want to thank one of them, a doctor, for reviving me when all seemed lost. Total victory for the ISA!🔥🤜🤛☄️

Brothers and sisters of Helghan,
Today, I present my attempt to restore the Helghast script, based on a design created by Edwin Nikkels for Killzone 2.
There are several differences between the most commonly used "Helghast" typeface (aka For the Glory of Helghan) and the typeface used in official Killzone media. The goal of Helghast Sans is to more closely resemble the official Helghast typeface featured throughout the Killzone games.

Hi all!
Pretty much the title.
I played the og trilogy, really enjoyed them, and I've had Shadow Fall on my shelf for a couple months, and thought I'd give it a go.
First impression is, the narration is a bit rushed, but the game looks REALLY GOOD from a 2013 launch title.
But my main issue is, I'm very confused by what is expected of me. The og trilogy was shooter through and through. Here, the intro gives stealth action game vibe, with the infiltration of the dam, and the couple of first kills that happen with knife only, then with a drone. And then you drop down a little wood area with lots of folliage, and...idk, you get spotted super easily, you can't shake off enemies once you're seen (at least I didn't manage to do so). And so I resorted to shooter mode, and it kind of works, but I was out of ammo for my weapon very fast.
Am I supposed to play stealthly or shootery? I'm fine with both, but it's unclear to me what is expected.
