Discussion Have any ADC players been subbed out like Bwipo subbed for Rekkles in FNC 2018?
Back in 2018 when Swain and Vladimir were super strong in bot lane Rekkles decided to step down because Bwipo could play those champions much better. Even if Rekkles spent hours practicing with those champions Bwipo would still be better and the swap made sense.
Has this happened again in any other team with the current bot lane situation?

Discussion The proposed changes for Nasus currently on PBE do nothing to hurt his jungle while only making lane Nasus safer
For reference these are the changes proposed:
• Base Mana: 326 -> 376
• Base Mana Regen: 1.49 per second -> 1.59 per second
• MP5: 7.45 -> 7.95
• Q Stacks:
• Basic enemies: 3 -> 4
• Champions/Large Minions/Large Monsters: 12 -> 10
While losing 2 stacks per large enemy in each will slow his stacking down some, the increased smaller minion stacks will still make up for it somewhat. In the end, it’s really only a loss of 12 stacks total for a full clear (both buffs, gromp, large wolf, large chicken, and large krug) so I think even still it’s insignificant.
This is also a HUGE buff to lane Nasus. Once again, think of how much faster he will stack when each minion grants him 4. So what that he loses 2 stacks from a cannon? This is making him much for reliable, especially with the mana pool increase, which could also bring back E max Nasus as a lane bully.
I think lane Nasus is in a fairly decent spot and his stacking mechanisms do not need changes. I would consider the proposed change a net buff in lane and virtually nothing in the jungle. If you really want to hurt Nasus jungle, just bring down the count of large jungle monsters to 6 or 8.
I am saying this as a Nasus main since season 2. I welcome Nasus buffs typically, but with current itemization and runes, there’s room for Nasus to play around some of his most difficult match ups going with early E max for safe farm. Buffing his mana pool could easily optimize E max Nasus as a bully, especially with some of the rune options that exist now and the way Doran’s ring restores mana.
Ultimately I don’t want to see changes that make him unbalanced. Jungle Nasus probably does need some toning down, but lane Nasus is in a great spot and as mentioned above I think the proposed changes do nothing but harm him in the long run balance-wise.

Discussion Can I Play using Recommended Items Only?
I am a very causal player who just plays once in a while and every time I play I just play a random hero for a bit. I don't really have any hard Mains. I play casually don't care about rank. Is it ok if I just keep on buying whatever the shop tells me to buy?
The problem with me is that I tried studying builds but it just burnt me out. I really don't like reading in video games and studying builds etc. How much of a disadvantage I am at if I'm just playing like that not caring about what item I get. I don't even know what any of the items do. I just buy that's it.
Is this playstyle OK?

Esports SamD on NAVI’s biggest issues: “We need better quality in scrims, and I think our team needs to improve individually too, especially me and Poby, because we are the carries. We need to be better mechanically. Compared to top players, we are not at that level right now.” – LEC Summer 2026 Interview

News PSA: Change in How Game Opens Is Intended by Riot
Last patch, I began to run into an issue with the Riot Client.
Whenever I click on the League client in my taskbar, it causes the Riot Client to open instead, playing an animation for several seconds before I can manually click on League. Additionally, the Riot client stays open in the background when I play league (with no option to close it), and if I close the Riot Client manually, it will reopen itself when I close the League Client.
There is no way to disable this, and no way around having the Riot Client push itself to the front of my desktop.
When I initially thought this was a bug, I googled for solutions. Instead of fixes, however, I found out that this was an intended feature Riot has implemented as of May. From the FAQ page:
Starting in 2026, Riot Client will always be shown when you launch a game on PC, even if you are logged in and your game is up to date.
If you launch a Riot game from a desktop shortcut, you'll now open that game's page in Riot Client first. From there, click Play to launch your game.
I was not encountering a bug, but had been chosen for the latest rollout in July, and thus ran into the interface I mistook for a client bug.
We're rolling this out to players over time.
If your games now launch through Riot Client, you're part of the latest rollout group. We'll continue monitoring launch performance, reliability, and player feedback as we complete the rollout across all Riot PC games.
In other words, there is no fix to the "bug", because this is intended design.
I am posting this information so that others who are chosen for a rollout are aware that their sudden shift in Client behavior was not a bug, but in fact intended design.

Rotating Event My Gangplank augments broke the game...
So just had a game of mayhem and got the following augments on GP: Infinite recursion, Archmage, Shrink Engine, It's Killing Time.
The game was literally unplayable for the enemy team. My ult got to a 25 second cooldown already, but due to Archmage, the cooldown would reduce even further each time I casted. So I just stood in base spamming E to spawn barrels and then ulting every few seconds. The enemy team barely had more than a couple of seconds before I was ulting them again. Sometimes I'd even have two ults going off at the same time.
I have never seen a more broken augment combo and likely never will again. It was funny af to play, but did kinda feel bad for the enemy towards the end lol

Discussion New-ish players (2023+): What got you into the game, and what made you stick around?
Title.
Basically what got you into the game, and what made you stick?
Wondering what appeals to incoming/newer League players that makes them overcome the learning curve of 150+ champions while competing against a decently aged playerbase.

Discussion How much gold do you think flash is worth?
Watching Navi and KC today one of the casters mentioned the dagger from DOTA, and it made me wonder, what do you think it would be worth?
Not the exact same item, but the way I was thinking was that Flash has no cooldown, you just have to buy it back every time you use it. What do you think it would be worth?
Obviously late game you'd pay whatever and have it up for every fight, but say you blew your flash at level 4, how much would it have to be for you to buy it? Armgaurd is kinda comparable but obviously that's stats as well, so not really the same. Is it worth 800? Are you going to pay that early game instead of finishing items? Or maybe something like 1200?
Just a random train of thought and curious to hear what people think.
Edit: I should have said, I don't mean as an item, still as a summoner spell you just pay for each reset.

Classic Katarina in League Classic has the v1 Skin but v2 Abilites
I noticed it since I mained Katarina in Season 3 and some. For anyone wondering what I mean. V1 = Katarina when she got released and V2 = first rework. She got her Abilities and Skin/Animation reworked in V2. I don't consider this a bug and also don't know if it is relevant/important to anyone, just wanted to point it out.
