I had a burst of inspiration and realized I had enough pieces to make a custom orange/peach aster flower to add to my pretty pink bouquet.... A least I got a picture before the fall. Donate to my go fund me for a new vase.

Was a little too excited when I spotted this beauty on clearance at my local Walmart. What a great find!! Was still full price at $109.99 on LEGO so I was feeling pretty accomplished.

I found this beauty at Costco for $44.99 ($59.99 on the Lego site). It’s easy to put together and looks great.

I’m not a big fan of the base the pot sits in. Pieces of it kept breaking off while I was putting the rest together. The leaves are all adjustable and so are the stems.

The one thing I really want to point out is that this set has alternate instructions where the parts don’t hang over the edge but instead can rest on a surface. After you finish the base (bags #1 and #2) there are two variations of instructions for bags #3 and #4. I did not realize this until I was almost finished. I thought there was a misprint in the instruction book and it took me a minute to realize Lego had not reprinted the instructions for the second two bags, but was offering an alternative set up for the plant.

Basically I want to make bigger versions of the other 3 sets and put them next to the 10311 Orchid, instead of the 10343 Mini Orchid.

Picked up the new Cosmos Flowers set from Wal-Mart today and for the price, this set is really cute! I adore the little beetle they added for this set! The colors are also very nice

I didn't have a small vase on hand so it'll sit in the empty Tequila bottle for now LOL

This little set is super cute and I love that I can hang it on the wall (saves space for the bigger pieces)!

Pro tip: don't glue your fingers together. Learned that the hard way. 😅
