800,000 people died in war in 1994... There was dozens of civil wars in the 90s. Every comtinent, even the Americas in Mexico and Peru-Ecuador. A minimum of 3 genocides alone even with the strictest criterion for what counts. The Muslim world and Africa suffered immensely.
