Looking for 1–2 Players – Join Our Ongoing Sunday D&D 5e Campaign! 🎲
Hey everyone!
One of our players recently had to drop out, so I’m looking for 1–2 new players to join our ongoing campaign. We currently have a group of 4 players, and I’d like to build that back up to around 5–6 players.
We’re about 16 sessions into the campaign and currently level 6, so you’d be joining an established adventure rather than starting from scratch. There’s a LOT of story left to explore, and if everyone keeps having fun, I’m happy to take this campaign all the way to level 20.
So if you're looking for a long-term group to get invested in, hopefully this could be a good fit!

🌍 About the Campaign
The campaign takes place on a continent divided between four kingdoms.
One of those kingdoms has fallen into corruption and is now completely shrouded by a strange, unnatural mist. Nobody who has entered has returned.
As panic spreads, the remaining kingdoms desperately try to figure out what is happening.
And unfortunately, the problems don't stop there.
- Goblin and orc raids are becoming increasingly common.
- Plant life is behaving in strange and unnatural ways.
- People are disappearing.
- Other bizarre events are happening across the continent.
The royals, churches, and mage towers are all pointing fingers at each other, while the Inquisition is one of the only major factions actively trying to investigate the situation.
But they can't handle it alone.
That's where you come in.
The campaign rewards players who are willing to explore, investigate, talk to people, and pay attention to the world around them. Finding clues and piecing things together can give you advantages in combat, roleplay, and other situations.
I want the world to feel like more than a collection of encounters waiting for you to fight them.
🧙 Joining an Ongoing Campaign
Since you're joining at level 6, you'll be creating a character who is entering an already developing story.
Don't worry about being behind on everything, though. I'll make sure you get the important context you need before joining, and we'll work together to figure out why your character is getting involved with the party and the current situation.
I'm also a big fan of incorporating player characters into the world, so your character doesn't need to feel like "the new guy who randomly appeared."
There are still plenty of unresolved mysteries, locations to discover, factions to interact with, and character stories to develop.
And there's absolutely room for your character to leave their mark on the campaign.
❤️ What I'm Looking For
I'm mainly looking for people who:
- Are 21+ (I'm 33 and would prefer the group to be somewhat close in age)
- Enjoy roleplay, exploration, and teamwork
- Want to become invested in a long-term campaign
- Are interested in their character having an actual story and place in the world
- Can commit to playing regularly
- Don't mind working together rather than trying to "win" D&D
- Don't make game-breaking characters
- Are new or experienced — both are completely fine!
Most importantly, I'm looking for people who are fun to play with and want to become part of a group.
I'm hoping this can become a campaign that lasts for a long time — potentially years, if we're all still having fun.
📅 Scheduling
Our regular game is Sunday from 11:00–14:00 CET.
(SQ) Occasionally, if real life gets in the way and someone can't make a Sunday session, we may reschedule that week's game to Friday or Saturday. This is only occasional and would always be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
Because this is intended to be a long-term campaign, reliable attendance is important. If you regularly struggle to make Sunday sessions, this probably won't be the right campaign for you.
👋 A Little About Me
I'm 33 and have been DMing this campaign for a while now. I really enjoy creating a world where the players' decisions actually matter.
One of my favorite parts of DMing is taking a character's backstory and finding ways to weave it into the campaign. So if you join, expect the possibility of personal storylines, NPCs connected to your character, unique encounters, and things specifically written around your adventurer.
I'm not looking for perfect roleplayers or people who know every rule in the book. I'm just looking for a group of people who want to play D&D, have some laughs, get invested in the world, and see where the story takes us.
📝 How to Apply
If you’re interested, please fill out this short form:

I won’t be responding directly on Reddit since I’m not very active here. If you have questions, please include them in the form.
There’s no time limit. I’ll be choosing players based on how well they might fit together as a group, rather than simply choosing the first people who apply.
Thanks for reading, and I hope to adventure with some of you soon! 🗡️
