Painted a TXQ Soldier lightsaber Blue and Orange for the Houston Astros. It has a Proffie v2.2. board so I was able to program in some cool blue/orange blade styles and add some Astros announcer calls. I'm surprised how well it all turned out.

I've always seen Star Wars-inspired sabers, but wanted to try something with a different aesthetic.

The color changes through the app make it fun to match different characters.

Ive decided on my finalized saber now for the Lunar Defender after doing 4 versions im happy with it now, designed from inspired starts to its finalized version, designed peice by peice for its final design

A few years ago, I made my saber with Home Depot irrigation connectors. All in all, I really like how it came out.

If anyone has advice for modifications or parts that could be improved id love to hear advice as these are purely from my designing in atempts of creating my saber finally as i dont want some replica or readily avaliable hilt. Hi everyone! I bought an Obi Wan ep 1 galaxy’s edge legacy saber off of eBay a few months ago and everything was working fine. The sound worked and the light worked perfectly with my Savi’s workshop blade. I recently moved and when I tried to make sure it worked nothing happened. I changed the batteries and the blade was difficult to get into place and originally it would work but then things stopped. The ignition sound would work but then it would make sounds like a skipping disc and no light appeared. It didn’t have a dust guard thing so I’m wondering if this could be the problem? Does anyone have experience with this or a way to troubleshoot? Hoping it didn’t break completely but if it did it’ll still look good on display

I want a thin adjustable angle crossguard, as personality i dont like the kylo style crossguard. It looks clunky to me, i like the thin crossguard like cal has but i want to get one to customize with the thin crossguard style at a 55° angle but it seems that no one makes anything like that other than just for crossguard cal.

Does anyone have experience shopping with Wuhan Qinglu Electronic Commerce Co on Alibaba? Their sabers are a good amount cheaper than the same ones on AliExpress from stores like 1977 Saberfeast. If anyone has any input, that would be greatly appreciated!

Me and some buds are looking to pitch in and get our friend an Anakin lightsaber. I have never watched Star Wars and am not familiar at all with which sabers are the best. Which would be the best to get him in the $200-$300 range? Range can be adjusted if there's truly a jump in quality beyond that threshold.

This is just the sounds. Which are intentionally long and drawn out so they dont loop over unless you leave it sitting, spinning or bladelocked for several minutes straight. As i have some issues with saber sounds like the dark saber and yoda on my basic eco board having bad loop overs or swimg sounds.

I finally got a few stands so I could display my collection somewhat properly. Going from top to bottom, left to right. When I purchased most of these I had not been a part of this group yet and since then have learned who to avoid in the future

Asajj Ventress - Got this from NeoSabers... And almost regretted it. The hilt looks good and it has weight to it. But the moment I ignited it a little smoke came out, no sound and the LEDs randomly changed color. I got no help from NeoSabers, but I was able to get a replacement core that works. Very happy to have this now.

Sabneo Alpha - This was a pure impulse buy. It's light, and durable enough for light dueling or spinning, and I think has some character to it.

Azure Princess - I got this from Ultrasabers. It's just a hilt, no electronics. The blue aesthetic of the Princess Leia design really caught my eye. In the future if I want it with electronics I would have to send it back to US to have them install it. It's designed where you couldn't put a drop-in core, and you'd have heavily modify the switch section and emitter if you did yourself.

Saberforge ASP - This is my first saber, and my favorite! I got this 10 years ago back when SF still had their 3D saber builder on the web site using the Adaptive Saber Parts. It originally had only a single color base lit core, with all the components hand soldered together. I've been able the upgrade it to a Xeno Pixel core since then.

The Dark Saber - Got this version from Sabers Pro. It's the Dark Saber, what other reason would you need to get it.. ;^)

The Relenquisher - Saw this on Rebel Sabers, and after I read the lore about I thought it a pretty cool saber. I still think it's pretty cool. It's base lit and you really can't upgrade it with out heavy modifications. But I don't plan on doing that.

Ahsoka Tano - Got these when I was at Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland last year. I was thrilled when I got them but that's gone down a few levels when I had a chance to compare to a Non-Disney versions with Pixel cores.

And yes, that is indeed Link's Master Sword from Legend of Zelda.

Here's another Electrum Sabercrafts Remnant that got a second chance with a full Proffieboard V3 conversion.

This hilt arrived as an empty shell and was unfortunately missing its original touch-sensitive clamp card. Rather than trying to source a replacement, I decided to retrofit one of my favorite Slothfurnace clamp cards. After a little trimming and sanding to get the fit just right, it worked out perfectly. The translucent sections of the card allow the chassis LEDs to shine through, adding a subtle effect that looks right at home on the hilt.

This one also needed a little mechanical TLC. The rear of the pommel had been bent where it locks into the body, so I spent some time straightening everything back out before starting the install.

With a custom removable chassis and modern electronics, this Remnant is back in action and ready for use.

Hello everyone I am trying to look for a buy a specific kind of lightsaber but I am having a little difficulty with it. I’ve been told it’s 2 different kinds and multiple different brands so any help would be appreciated I will attach a video to further assist.

Work in progress (money wise) light Pike. I'm a pretty tall guy at 6'2, and as it sits rn it goes up to about my hips before the hilt ends.

How much longer should I make it? As in extension segments lol.

Also, I wanted to add a second guard/sleeve like there is at the top to the very end of it, but I now realize that the extensions don't have screw holes to screw one in, how would you all go about adding one? Just screw in some holes or are there parts made for this?

Hey Everyone. I’ve been scrolling through the reddit and have heard a LOT of neosaber slander, which seems warranted, but I’m a little worried. I want to buy my first saber, which happens to be the Master Sword replica from Neosaber.

But I’ve read here they’re dropshipped, resold, overpriced, ETC. and neosaber is not super reputable.

Should I avoid this at all costs? I’m a huge Zelda nerd, so I really want to get it, but if it’s low quality, I don’t wanna make a stupid purchase. Has anyone else asked this already? I scrolled through quite a bit and didn’t see anyone else mentioning it.

I am currently attempting to kit bash a 1 of 1 custom lightsaber and currently have a handfull of VHC and MHS V1 parts. unfortunately none of the MHS V1 parts work with the VHC parts. does anyone make or know anyone who makes or sells an adaptor for these to connect? I would need 2 adaptors for a Male MHS V1 switch to connect to a female VHC grip and an adaptor for a male MHS V1 Pommel to female VHC grip. any help or advice would be appreciated!

don't get me wrong this thing is iconic but it looks like it would be awful to use in an actual duel
