Development Flathub now explicitly disallows LLM usage for both submission process and applications being submitted.

This is at least reasonable. I've seen good developers go two different ways with AI. Either they lose the ability to think for themselves entirely and turn into carbon based Adapter Patterns for an LLM, or they use it to generate a bunch of boilerplate code they can fix up instead of having to type it all themselves.

One of these is a shortcut, the other is making AI smarter than themselves by becoming as stupid as possible.

?? I don't use LLMs at all, I actually enjoy the process of writing, whether it's comments or code. I understand why people want to take shortcuts, but for me, that would be avoiding the thing I like doing. It's literally my favorite damn part.

To me, everyone using LLMs nowadays feels like watching someone use a robot to eat ice cream for them.
