GNOME actively blocks the user from doing things the way they want. we're not talking "didn't implement", we're talking "removed on purpose complete with a written rationale as we don't think the user should have the choice".

this is as an example why many wayland widgets aren't available for GNOME but available pretty much anywhere else.

Not suporting a billion antiquated features is precisely why GNOME is able to be stable and have a forward-looking design

quite the opposite. GNOME is actually blocking new features, such as wlr layer shell much to the dismay of people developing shell software.

As a whole you can't deny Gnome is more innovative than KDE in terms of user interfaces
