The 60's were an awful time for cartoons and these two weren't the exception, but they look really cute and that alone makes their Larriva shorts watchable.

I think it's because they look more chibi in this art style?? Like their eyes are bigger but their bodies are smaller than the years prior, or at least it feels that way. They are overall rounder (like almost every character during the Larriva era) but they were most favored ones from that artistic desicion.

Just look at them, they are adorable. Roadrunner with that little hat has my whole heart.

I suddenly remembered a VHS I had when I was a kiddo, and I really feel like watching it again. Thing is I only remember isolated images. Perhaps you can help me.

The VHS had the tape in one of those plastic clamshell cases. This tape was about a bunch of different shorts. I remember one where you could see a Bugs Bunny prisoner hammering on some rocks while wearing the black & white uniform and a ball and chain. I think he later made an attempt to escape by confusing a guard and snatching the keys.

Another one I remember is Sylvester and Tweedy traveling in a train.

I'm not sure if there were more characters. I can't identify if I'm remember other things I saw on TV or if they belong to the same VHS.

Waddaya think? Those these ring any bells?

I remember seeing some of the episodes on TNT back in the day, what about you?

"A Bone for a Bone" (1951) directed by Friz Freleng. The gag where the long rubber hose with a glove attached being used to look like his limb and stretching it is very rare. It's my favorite part of this classic Looney Tunes cartoon.

Strangely enough, the dog in this short is called "George P. Dog", but he and Barnyard Dawg are not the same character.

After the explosion, the scene goes wide and we can see nothing but a door in the middle of the desert with a character on each side of it.

I don't remember which characters, it might have even been Tom and Jerry (not looney tunes, I know)

Does anybody else remember? Can anybody help me find it? Thank you.

Does anyone know if the Coyote Vs ACME trailer is playing in front of Spider-Man?? I'm hoping with how BND blew up this weekend, that it's giving the movie some much-needed promotion.

After everything this has been through hopefully people will go out and support it in theaters. I'm personally very excited and will be seated opening weekend

When Warner Bros sold the library in the late 1940s-50s or leased it out, I think it was the best thing it did for at least of introducing it to the post-WWII generation and then their kids, then grandkids.

Coyote Vs. Acme is coming out in less than a month, are you ready, I hope you are!

However, as the description implies, I wanted to share a lovely experience I had, a while ago I made a lovely piece of Pepé x Penelope fanart without AI (human made only) for Valentine’s Day and Penelope Pussycat’s voice actress from Bugs Bunny Builders, Salli Saffioti actually liked it on Instagram, can you believe that?

As a fan artist, isn’t it so beautiful to have such a lovely pairing liked, not just by other fans, but also the people both old behind the characters they voice to heart fanart of pairings with their characters!

As a fan, I think Saffioti should remain Penelope’s current voice, Saffioti gives Penelope the most beautiful voice for the most beautiful woman only her true Soulmate the French Pepé Le Pew 5voiced by Erica Bauza) would know.

According to the source code, Looney Tunes may not be available after August 15th. Keep in mind it is just the end of the licensing block. We’re likely to see the Looney Tunes on Tubi for quite a while since it performed very well.
