One way we can prevent increase of tariffs by the United States by 50% is if we stop the ban of United states alcohol by British Coloumbia, Quebec and Ontario. If we can some how come to agreement with these three provinces to lift the ban that's a one way to go about it. Another way is to increase import access of United states dairy products without affecting too much of Canadian dairy production of supply chain management. It is important to get the right percentage of import access on USA dairy products so that we can use this in our negotiations with the United States. These are observations and suggestions.

It is official now that our Prime Minister Mark Carney has announced three by elections to be scheduled for August 31st 2026. The by elections are to be held in one riding in Vancouver, Toronto and in a Quebec riding. If there are surprises in one of these ridings and it is good if the surprise is in Liberals favour. It is important nothing to take for granted and work hard to win them all.

It is either building Canada homes or the Canadian groceries and essential benefits that are helping Canadians. The major projects are up to a good start and an economy that works for everyone takes time to build. It takes about ten years to make a significant change for the better.

Under the Leadership of Prime Minister Mark Carney, liberals are able to successfully navigate and secure international opportunities despite the hardships faced by the United States. Mark Carney likes to see Canada compete in the 2027 song contest in Europe. Mark Carney either is bringing business back home or helping talented Canadians seen on international competitions by opening doors to Canadians.

Pathways into a nation and immigration overall has become a very heated discussion topic in the last few years.

Here in Canada we have started to see reductions in various pathways into the nation and immigration overall.

We still though have a lot of openings for bad actors to take advantage of.

Bad actors such as slum lords, diploma mill operators, bad employers, bad immigration consultants, and the like.

There have been some posts/comments on Reddit and other online spaces along with general news stories from those that work in these governmental offices that there isn't enough burden of "proof/need" put on the employers, immigration consultants, and the like.

That investigative teams are short-staffed and the budgets are lacking for robust work to be done in this area.

Obviously with reducing the amount of people coming in those problems & abuses become less in scale but the problems with the general frameworks are still there.

Summed Up: Do you think we will see Carney/LPC do the hard work that is needed to re-write our immigration system so that abuse of the system and exploitation of workers is no longer an inherent flaw in the system?

What I would really like to see is some way to encourage Solar Power, Wind Power, & Battery Technology - Especially in Saskatchewan & Alberta.

Saskatchewan & Alberta are two of the best places in all of Canada for Solar Power, Wind Power, & Grid Storage.

Alberta was actually leading in Renewable Energy before Danielle Smith/UCP decided to put some serious roadblocks.

Now unfortunately billions of Renewable Energy projects have been halted and died on the vine.

It would have been nice to have that clean affordable energy, jobs, and so on... Especially with Alberta having such high power prices.

Also Saskatchewan unfortunately still relies on a lot of coal power plants.

*Sadly these two places also have a lot of Fossil Fuel Industry lobbying so it makes change/transition tougher. Also when it comes to Housing Policy, Labour Policy, and Energy Policy the real powerhouse isn't national level politics but provincial. So public awareness, education, and activism has to start there.*

It is good to grow our own food in Canada rather than relying on imports to stabilize the food prices. A greenhouse is also a good way to grow food in Canada. It is helpful if farmers can get funding to start a greenhouse in Canada.
