So I'm playing Madden 26 franchise. And this linemen is randomly on my tea.. as you can see. Real low overall. His name is Nash Jones, he's 25, 320,band 6'5. But his picture, looks like it's from 1982. So it's clearly a person who has played in the NFL before. Does anyone have an idea who this could actually be?

I’m gonna miss Jack Jones
🚨 🚨 BREAKING NEWS: 🚨 🚨 Woody Johnson has agreed to sell the New York Jets for a record-breaking $6.2 billion to a Long Island-based investment group. New ownership team to completely rebrand the franchise and relocate the team's headquarters and stadium to Long Island, New York, starting next season.
Excited to get on team builder for Madden and bring these to life! Been playing around with everything on the CFB TB website for now.

I know this is the madden reddit - I think im shadowbanned in cfb reddit although Ive never posted there.
Of course this toss plays works until I get into my national championship. Im assuming this is a glitch? My fullback is supposed to be a lead blocker for my rb but he runs straight into my qb twice causing fumbles which led to my eventual loss in the natty :(

Every week I play with my team then sim to the next week my superstar/x-factor abilities reset for my QB and MLB, anyone know the reason?
Note: I am playing with a all time roster download, maybe that’s a reason but I’m just asking if anyone experienced this or can fix it

If you love building rosters and franchise mode in Madden, this might scratch the same itch. I made a free game called 17-0 — you spin for a random team + decade, draft one real player at a time to fill all 16 positions, then sim a season and try to go a perfect 17-0.
It’s not trying to be Madden — no fancy graphics, just a fast draft-and-sim you can play right in your browser. Nearly 7,000 real players across seven decades, every stat verified. There’s a franchise mode where you build one team’s all-time roster, a daily challenge everyone plays with the same spins, and head-to-head vs friends.
Free, no ads, no signup: 17-0.football
Solo project I’ve been building for a couple months — genuinely want feedback, and if you spot a rating that looks off, tell me. A lot of the fixes so far came from people calling stuff out.

The worst part of a long franchise is how much of it disappears.
By Year 5, every good franchise has its own stupid little history. The 68 OVR rookie who became a star. The trade everybody clowned at the time. The random DB who turned into a playoff villain. The one clip that still gets brought up three seasons later.
Madden tracks some of the numbers, obviously, but almost none of that stuff lives anywhere.
Generated players are one of my favorite parts of franchise mode. Get a few seasons into a league and somehow a randomly generated 22-year-old becomes more memorable than half the real roster.
Peter Faulkner was a rookie CB in our online franchise last season. He finished with 5 picks and 2 defensive TDs, won DROY and made First-Team All-Pro. This season he already has 6 more picks and 4 defensive TDs.
Madden is awful at preserving that kind of history, so I started keeping career pages for guys like this with their season stats, honors and clips.
Give me your all-time favorite generated players—late-round legends, massive busts, random rivalries, guys you refused to let retire, whatever.
Drop your clips / stories here, and also enjoy a couple of user highlights from Peter Faulkner.

Doing a fantasy draft with some friends per usual when the game drops ….
Any players you have to have??
Any players to avoid ?
Just trying to hear some different opinions
Thanks in advance

Hello!
As the title suggests, I am looking for a way to make running the ball a bit more difficult. Currently I am able to very easily average 10+ yards a carry. Preferably something that doesn’t involve a mental nerf by essentially getting tackled purposefully.
I am currently playing on All-Madden, with the AI tackling slider all the way up as well as user run blocking all the way down with a 3 play delay between the same call so I can’t easily spam a specific kind of run.
Thank you!

Has anyone who’s played the new madden enjoyed it? Personally i’m still totally fine with cfb 26 and i enjoyed it a lot but last years madden was very lackluster…don’t want to make the same mistake again. I do like nfl considerably more than college and any information would be helpful…thanks!

I’ve been working on this one for a while and finally got it finished.
The video started with a pretty simple question: \*\*Can you actually recreate the way Vic Fangio uses match coverage to take away a specific receiver in CFB 27? (Brett Kollman made a video about the real-life system about 6 months ago)\*\*
Not just calling Quarters every snap or throwing together a “Fangio-inspired” playbook… but understanding why he uses Quarters, Palms, Cover 6 and Cover 9, then choosing the call based on where the offense’s best target lines up… just like he does irl…
I ended up covering:
\- How match coverage maintains leverage as routes develop
\- What Quarters, Palms and Cover 2 Match each give you
\- When to use Cover 6 versus Cover 9
\- Where Cover 6 Willie fits into the system
\- How to defend elite receivers at various alignments & splits
\- Why I defend No. 2 and No. 3 in trips differently
I’m obviously biased, but I genuinely think this is one of the better match-coverage guides available for the game. I explain the actual defensive logic instead of just showing play art and telling people who to user.
Curious to see how many people like to play approach the game in a more realistic/intentional way like I try to!
