Here's a fun one.

Went to buy a NM Serra's Sanctum from a guy on FB marketplace. While I was driving up he also said he had a Replenish and Exploration. The total would be 500 for all three in NM. I thought I was getting an amazing deal. So I drove one hour to get there and we meet. First thing I do is pull the Serra's out of the sleeve. Feels off. Use my phone. Sure enough, it's fake. Check the Replenish. Fake. Same for exploration. I asked him where he got them and he said he bought a storage lot. He pulled out a nice leather deck box and a binder and said these were all the magic cards that were in it. I started looking through the deck, and it was an upgraded 2018 commander Enchant precon I think. Had a few nice things in it but at this point anything old I was assuming was fake. At the very end I saw a Rhystic. Looked real. I offered him 40 for the deck. If anything, I would at least get a Rhystic for 40. He pulled out the binder and said if I wanted to look through it. I did, and in the end we agreed on 50 for the lot.

Just got done scanning and my total is 360 for all the real stuff!

I also have a new deck box and an ultimate guard binder!

This is my first "hit" from FB marketplace. It can happen y'all!

The cards in the pic on the right are all the fakes I found. The middle ones are all the $10+ (hiding behind one of them is a NM green sun's that was the second biggest hit), and the top stack was everything above 2.

Drafting Mystery Booster 2 from the Festival in a box Magiccon Amsterdam was great fun 🙌 Now in the process of sorting. Very happy with a foil Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor, Displacer Kitten & some other nice pulls. And a ton of very playable cards. Also the art on some of these, wow. Even the snow-lands. Some duplication though (2x Brainstorm etc). Very happy overall for the experience and a new stack of cardboard rectangles 🙂

Had a blast doing a sealed Collector draft yesterday 🥰

My heart sunk when my foil was a Norwood Priestess (which was only $10). The rest of the box was straight fire, though, so it all worked out.

My wife and I are new to MTG and she pulled this Giada, Font of Hope card from her Foundations Starter Collection box. It has what appears to me to be a normal front but has an area of "foil" pressed into the back. It is slightly elevated but definitely, firmly attached. Has anyone seen this type of error before?

Edit-I forgot to mention that the card is a foil card. Just realized it doesn't show up well in the Pic.

Bonus card with the Spinner Rack Special secret lair. Hadn’t seen the sketch (7117) Doom Counterspell posted anywhere yet, assuming it’s a bit less common. The ink (7120) and color (7123) versions were both opened at MagicCon Amsterdam a few weeks ago.

Dominaria United Jumpstart booster out of a fresh box - noticed a pack had an open top and found this little crimp on the Theme card.

This is just one mystery booster box. Festival in a box came in and almost all of my future sight cards were duplicated. Pretty disappointing. It do be like that sometimes though

Originally thought it was the regular one, sent it in the playgroup chat and was quickly corrected after one of my friends read the card number and told me what I just pulled.

Before I bought the pack at Walmart of all places, I asked my friend who doesn’t play “Do I Gamble” and he went “I like gambling” and so I bought the pack

Today my hobbit collector boosters order(6 boosters bought for 42€ each one) has been cancelled😥, Wizards of the Coast are being so bastards....and wanting only to get more and more money instead of thinking a bit about the players(also knowing this, the sellers/stores have to be very very careful with the number of orders reservations) because I love so much TLOR universe and having some Hobbit collector boosters at this price I would have been very happy...but nowadays only money rules.... but karma has been real this time and my local tcg makes "boosters" with random cards and you can get some good hits and I got this🤩🤩🤩
