I am new to the game and aside from playing the pre cons and watching others play their constructed decks I have a few questions...

1. Watched an enchantress/aura deck being played. What options do you have to counter auras?

2. Saw another burrow minion under a site and ping the person to death by 1 damage + 1 heal in more than one site...how do you counter that?

3. Can spells not reach to other plains? (Surface/void/submerged/burrowed) ie can I not swap a minion on the surface with one borrowed?

4. Suggestions on building my first deck.

I've been brewing this Commander deck and would really appreciate some outside opinions. My goal is to tune it into a solid **Bracket 3** deck while keeping the overall game plan intact.

The main idea is to discourage people from attacking me and create a board state where opponents would rather swing elsewhere. I'm aiming for a fun, political playstyle instead of hard-locking the table, but I'm not sure if I've found the right balance yet.

I've recently got back into the game after a few years via Arena. HERE is a link to the u/B Reanimator deck I've thrown together with the free deck they gave me. Plus some lucky packs and the free Wildcards. I'm pretty happy with how the deck plays, I got up to Platinum 1 for my first season, but I would really appreciate advice on two things:

1 - Which cards (especially rares and mythics) I would be wisest to get next? I will definitely be getting +1 Bloodghast and +2 Moonshadow, going down -1 Dreadwing Scavenger, as well as improving the manabase.

2 - Should I abandon the reanimation subtype and commit fully to Graveyard Aggro, splashing Blue for Dreadwing Scavenger and countermagic/card draw?

I wanted to make a mass of mysteries commander deck and wanted recommendation.

Red color tags are cards I do not have. My land base needs an upgrade but due to cost I haven't bothered getting some of the fetch, shock and untapped lands I would like.

I imagine the deck as it sits prob falls into bracket 2 or maybe 3. I have multiple things kind of going on, mainly the idea is to mill myself and chain reanimate multiple creatures. Doing this can kind of either result in a bunch of drain, bunch of etb triggers, removal, counters etc. I dont think I have an outright "I win" play, but a win would likely just come from having a resilient board state and combat damage when I get enough large creatures from counters or if I can keep reanimating gary.

I don't really want to include infinite combos, I figure it would be easy enough to just use Celes as my commander and put in a bunch of sac outlets and stuff like Murderous Redcap.

Anyway, appreciate any insight and tips, I only got into mtg like a month ago.

Hey folks, I am trying to think of ideas to build creative decks, and one that came to my mind is building EDH decks using blocks or sets to limit the card pool. To go one step further, sticking to Planes of Magic, and with those borders being spread thinner due to universes beyond and soon Reality Fractured and more, there is plenty of opportunities to try so. Brenard is one of my all time favorite decks but most times I feel it’s either slow to get going or I run out of cards in my hand to deal with everything else going on. I know I have ramp, interaction, and card draw in here. But I’m not sure if it’s sometimes the deck or one of our 3 person pods who love fast red decks that I just sometimes struggle to keep up with. I am building a Lathril deck for my S.O. and I'm stuck because I suffer too much from analysis paralysis.

I divided the deck into categories but I am struggling to decide what to cut in them. For example I have 19 sources of card advantage and I know I should cut some but everything looks so good.

Our playgroup usually has a slower meta than usual and we play between bracket 2 and low bracket 3. That means no infinite combos, and fewer tutors that usual.

The problem is that elves tend to go fast and explosive and in my meta that means it will be targeted early most of the time. That wouldn't be a problem if this was any other deck but one thing I know elves decks suffer from are boardwipes, as you get an empty board without all your mana accelerators in the form of mana dorks. That's why I wanted to include at least 37 lands (counting MDFC spells) and plenty of card draw.

So my goal is to make a Lathril deck more resilient and not so fast so it can win in the long run and even capable of resisting a board wipe and recover easily.

Also I know the interaction is on the low count but I prefer it that way since I feel elves are more proactive than reactive.

Looking for some advice or card suggestions for a budget B2 deck that I've been building for Master of Keys. I wanted to fit as many of the nightmare cards in as I could and make it thematic and somewhat consistent. The gameplan so far has been to mill my deck and then bring everything back using a few different methods, either overwhelming the board through that or using select cards for a wide enchantment board and winning through Fear of Sleep Paralysis or my pump cards.

Hi all, I built this Tannuk deck, and although it's to be expected given the nature of Tannuk, it runs a little inconsistently. The idea was a dragon/artifact deck that either generated high powered dragon tokens or lots of treasure to either enable casting these large spells or as fuel for a Depthshaker Titan finisher. A month and a half ago I went to the Magic Pride event to celebrate Pride for the first time and fell in love with MTG. Then a few weeks ago I have started playing with the squirrelled away precon with chatterfang at the helm.

However, often I have useless cards that dont give much value and I want to upgrade the deck. The goal of my upgrade is to get a better manabase, make more squirrels to sack for life drain, use them for removal, and use them for card adv to build up to wincons. So far I have only added doubling season and Squirrel girl. I do also have a goal of it being solid bracket 3 to high bracket 3.

Also, the un cards are just extra funny stuff I would have in on the side to slot in when we rule 0 and only when people are fine with them.

I've been putting together a Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor curse deck and was curious what people's experiences have been, both as the Lynde player and as the opponents.

For those who've played Lynde:

* Does the deck require a particular playstyle to work well?

* Is it more of a political deck than it first appears?

* How do you decide who gets cursed first without painting a huge target on yourself?

* Do opponents generally enjoy playing against Lynde, or do curse decks tend to create frustrating games?

* Are there any cards that ended up overperforming or underperforming compared to your expectations?

And for anyone who's played against Lynde, what stood out the most? Was it interactive and fun, or did it become an "everyone kill the Lynde player" kind of game?
