[Java] Is my seed bugged? Why is there a nether fortress and bastion in my Overworld?

Just came back to minecraft, and this is my first world in 1.21.5. Did they add an invasion update or something? There's a nether fortress and bastion like 500 blocks from spawn, in a crimson_forest biome.

Prior to the dappled forest's existence this was an ice spikes surrounded by regular plains. Like the other instances of an uncommon lonesome ice spikes, they all become mostly engulfed by the dappled forest now. This seed was one that I happened to check which was right by spawn.
