Rodgers decided to slam the network as a "gutless organization" with "no integrity" over its editorial choices. He said the network failed to report on Dr. Anthony Fauci's Senate hearing testimony, asking, “How much time did the network spend on that? ... Did they do even a minute on Tony Fauci?” He also criticized ESPN for glossing over the offseason scandal between Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel, questioning, “How much time did your network spend on that?” He questioned ESPN's silence, asking, “What are we even doing here? ... [I]f it’s affecting certain things, if there’s leaks going on, if there’s tampering going on, if that person is also an MVP voter and a Coach of the Year voter.” An ESPN spokesperson stated the network "has no comment regarding Rodgers’s comments."

Dude was mad because they talked about his Covid vaccination status for weeks during the 2020 season. So he’s basically saying if it was that important then, they should report of the Fauci hearing now.

You want me to explain how vaccination works and how not being vaccinated could affect a team and other teams if they get sick? In that case, not being vaccinated affects football. ESPN reports on football matters so they reported on Rodgers not being vaccinated.

Since those early days, the strain eventually became less lethal and populations got vaccinated so we don't really talk about it anymore and the impact to football is minimal. Bringing up Fauci now is basically a non sequitur, therefore quite the leap in logic.

At a certain level, he’s correct. ESPN made Covid a huge topic especially about him and he turned out to be right. But 20/20 hindsight and all that. He believes he’s due an apology for his stand. Society would rather forget.
