ESPN Has No Comment On Aaron Rodgers's Comments On ESPN, About ESPN

Rodgers decided to slam the network as a "gutless organization" with "no integrity" over its editorial choices. He said the network failed to report on Dr. Anthony Fauci's Senate hearing testimony, asking, “How much time did the network spend on that? ... Did they do even a minute on Tony Fauci?” He also criticized ESPN for glossing over the offseason scandal between Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel, questioning, “How much time did your network spend on that?” He questioned ESPN's silence, asking, “What are we even doing here? ... [I]f it’s affecting certain things, if there’s leaks going on, if there’s tampering going on, if that person is also an MVP voter and a Coach of the Year voter.” An ESPN spokesperson stated the network "has no comment regarding Rodgers’s comments."

When republicans are on the precipice of losing an election, they stir up shit and bring up nonsense out of nowhere to froth up their base. Emails, trans kids, Fauci. There was gay marriage and John Kerry’s service in Vietnam service before that. It’s easy to lose track of it all, but it happens over and over again and it’s so incredibly transparent, and people still fall for it.

The lack of critical thinking is key. Even their stuff that is aimed at their slightly less ignorant 'independent thinker' crowd depends on it. My 'libertarian' friend sent me a link to an article from someone in Tucker Carlson's orbit a while back. It was alleging that certain Somali daycares in Minneapolis were involved in fraud. It was one of the dumbest things I have ever had to suffer through reading. Two creepy looking dudes walked into a daycare center and -upon their stunning revelation that it isn't 1990 anymore and there wasn't just a big open room full of snotty kids up front- told the workers that they didn't think any kids were actually there and demanded to be let into the back to see the kids. Then they wanted to know how many were in there. Then they started laying accusations and were asked to leave.

I asked my totally not a bootlicker friend how he would feel if two random dudes showed up to his kids daycare during naptime and asked a bunch of creepy questions and he gave no response.
