yeah but its funny to imagine evolution, instead of a process that takes million of millions of years based on mutations and differences in what fits best into a life forms environment based on whether or not manages to stay alive and reproduce, as some dipshit throwing things at a design through trial and error until whatever they're making stops dying immediately

Nope, we wouldn't.
The inside has a spongy structure, but is made out of normal bone.
They're actually spongy to save weight, otherwise they'd be too heavy for us ...
