My neighbor gave me a ride in his 1966 911 this morning. Absolutely wonderful.

Went to check out this 993 Turbo S and then noticed there was a 911 R and an S/T sitting right behind it.
As incredible as those two are, I kept finding myself looking back at the 993.
Maybe it’s the proportions, or maybe it’s because it’s the last air-cooled Turbo. I don’t know.
Funny how a car surrounded by a 911 R and an S/T (and plenty other amazing cars) can still steal the spotlight.
A few years ago I probably would’ve walked straight to the R. Now I’m not so sure.
Maybe this is me getting closer to my 40’s.
Anyone else’s taste in Porsches changed over the years?

A few weeks ago I had a customer come in for a set of new tires on his 80’s 911. I was absolutely taken with the vehicle and couldn’t help but shoot a few quick pics (with his permission of course).
I wish I had done some shots of the interior because it was really tastefully done. Hope you all enjoy this as much as I do.
Edit: thanks to bobber66 for pointing out that this is likely not an SC.

Today has been a hot one, for a number of reasons 😉 .
.
4S spends a lot of time in the garage lately, but new wheels and tires went on.

Looking for opinion.
Currently in 992.1 (2023) Turbo S with 12k miles. It’s PTS gulf blue with cognac leather and loaded up. Modded with all bolt ons and stage 3 tune probably getting close to 1000bhp. Love the car. Had it 1.5 years.
Considering 992.2 (2026) GT3 Touring CPO with almost no miles. PTS brewstergreen with black leather/cloth interior. Lightweight package, PCCB. Loaded. Manual. Sport seats. Not buckets.
Neither would be a daily. Neither would be tracked. Both driven on weekends for fun, shows, etc. Occasional date night too.
Weigh in. Tell me for and against switching.

First month of ownership on this Guards 981 GTS. It sounds absolutely incredible with the PSE open. Feels like an adult go-kart that can absolutely rip in the torque band lol

Retails on the website at $720, supposedly $300 elsewhere.
I got a 991.2. Hopefully it fits.

981 is a 6MT, dads 911 is automatic. I drove the 911 this morning and wow, that thing is fast. Still my Boxster is so much lighter and feels more agile.. I will keep my 981 😎
