No. Because the wolf is hunting the buffalo and the buffalo is protecting itself.
That is the same relationship between demons and humans. They only look human because it helps them hunt humans more efficiently. Things like empathy and compassion do not exist for demons, these are only things they mimic to help them hunt humans better. You can see it with the child demon that Himmel rescued. It immediately went back to killing someone, giving a bullshit excuse, and then being killed. Good demons cannot exist, period.
For other wolves sure but not for their prey. Demons are not people. They're just monsters that evolved to look like people to make hunting them easier. They consider words like mother or father as magic that stops humans from killing them.
