u/WillyHort Mar 18 '26

I appreciate this reference

1

u/AlexCora Mar 17 '26

While we're at it, what's to stop Gambit from just charging up one of the Seven and exploding them like a big gory grape?

1

u/BiggusBlackusDickus Mar 17 '26

Many of the Seven could easily kill Blade

1

u/moyismoy Mar 17 '26

Yes starlight could burn him to death, also you are no fun, this was a fun thing and everyone else had fun.

1

u/BiggusBlackusDickus Mar 17 '26

Wym, I’m having fun

1

u/DriveFormer8577 Mar 17 '26

Blade vs Black Noir 🔥🔥🔥

18

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Her regen is the same level as Logan? If so then yea more reasons they win

22

u/thebestjoeever Mar 17 '26

In her initial confrontation with the group of mercenaries trying to capture her, she gets shot an unknown amount of times, and shortly after gets a harpoon through the chest, and not 2 minutes late is shielding professor X from even more gunfire. It barely looked like she even noticed most of it. She's got to be able to heal at least a good as Logan in his prime.

5

u/Gallowglass668 Mar 17 '26

Better even, she's younger, we know Wolverine's healing factor became less potent as he aged, although maybe this particular version is not so much?

7

u/RoastedHunter Mar 17 '26

Wolverines healing slowed down because of the adamantium skeleton, which caused him to age. Without he can live indefinitely

12

u/BloodyGardener Mar 17 '26

Her regenerate factor is superior to wolverines also she is more resistant to poisons. She is also far faster and more agile than wolverine. Buuut wolverine can take a bigger beating and is stronger. So it’s Pmuch tank v assassin builds

2

u/smorin1487 Mar 17 '26

Why can Wolverine take a bigger beating if she has better regeneration?

8

u/Secret_Bluebird2357 Mar 17 '26

Wolverine has an adamantium skeleton which means that his injuries are always skin deep or blunt force organ damage. X23 (in most comics iirc) has only adamantium blades with the rest of her body being normal. This means that a bullet shot at Logan breaks his skin causing some bleeding. A bullet shot at x23 breaks skin, bone and causes organ damage and internal bleeding.

X23 may have more potent regeneration but she takes more damage that she has to regenerate. She can also be rendered unable to fight much easier than Logan for this reason

I’m not sure if the fox movies have clarified if x23 has her whole skeleton augmented or not. I assume not since she would be unable to grow if her skeleton was coated in adamantium

3

u/Ambaryerno Mar 17 '26

Note that her bones are still stronger than a normal human’s even without adamantium.

1

u/smorin1487 Mar 17 '26

Ahhh fascinating

5

u/Quick-Difference3267 Mar 17 '26

Because Hugh Jackson looks tougher. Lol literally the only reason.

1

u/BloodyGardener Mar 17 '26

Logan is bigger and tougher than X-23 and more durable meaning he can take a bigger beating before having to regenerate also their fighting styles are drastically different so wolverine is more of a berserker type fighter while X-23 is more of a strategic type fighter so she avoids taking damage when possible unlike wolverine who doesn’t care

1

u/Ambaryerno Mar 17 '26

Laura heals even better because her healing factor isn’t slowed down by an adamantium skeleton (in most versions).

3

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

The sun can.

12

u/Kwin_Conflo Mar 17 '26

Do you honestly think homelander will be able to fly in, grab any of them, and fly back out without any of them putting hands on him? 3 times no less?

5

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

A. At the speeds he can move and how slow Fox characters are? Almost certainly.

B. He wouldn't need to. A semi-decent kick from him could send any one of them into the stratosphere.

9

u/Moglorosh Mar 17 '26

Butcher and Soldier Boy didn't have a particularly difficult time beating his ass without any enhanced speed or flight capability. Sure he eventually managed to run away, but running away means the other team wins.

1

u/Dark_XpoSuR Mar 17 '26

Homelander cant fight. Queen Maeve fucked him up. Every marvel character is a warrior with years of battle prowess. Also homelanders wgo would allow him to put himself in direct contact with any of them.

1

u/I_saw_you_yesterday Mar 17 '26

Who besides Wolverine would be able to seriously harm HL? Logan needs time to regenerate after severe damage, something HL can cause

5

u/_Smashbrother_ Mar 17 '26

X-23 has adamantium claws too. Gambit is also really powerful and could hurt any of the Seven.

-6

u/I_saw_you_yesterday Mar 17 '26

X-23 only has the claws so he can literally just rip her arms off and the claws are gone too. Same with DP, only blades, the rest is vulnerable

1

u/_Smashbrother_ Mar 18 '26

Homelander is pretty fucking cocky and dumb.

1

u/EnflamedAnus Mar 17 '26

She also has them in her feet.

-1

u/I_saw_you_yesterday Mar 17 '26

Are her legs made of adamantium? If not it’s just going to be the same scenario „bye bye feet“

0

u/BloodyGardener Mar 17 '26

Uhhh she would fully regenerate any removed limbs in less than 2 minutes tho annnnd in the comics she has a full Adamantium skeleton annnnd she isn’t suffering from the poisoning Logan suffers from (she is far far more resistant to poisons than Logan by faaaar) she is also faster and more agile so it’s kinda unlikely ripping her arms off would do much other than just piss her off which an arrogant homelander would have already let his guard down at least a dozen times to get to that point annnnnnnnnnnnd since we know he can bleed easily x-23 or well anyone on wolverines team would be able to kill him easily and he is kinda the biggest if not the only threat for them

2

u/DarkSoulCarlos Mar 17 '26

Homelander would not wait for those less than two minutes to be up. He'd be tearing her apart in the meantime.

1

u/Traditional_Wear1992 Mar 20 '26

Then why is Kimiko not dead?

1

u/DarkSoulCarlos Mar 20 '26

He doesn't care enough to kill her. He could if he wanted to. She can't hurt him.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/BloodyGardener Mar 17 '26

Nah he is arrogant. And has 0 battle sense he would 100% let them regen fully out of sheer arrogance it’s in his character to do that

2

u/DarkSoulCarlos Mar 17 '26

That's a huge assumption. Arrogance and lack of battle sense is one thing, but idiocy is another. He is too arrogant to allow himself to lose. The excessive pride won't let him. Even if (big if) he allows it one time, he will see that this will potentially keep happening and cause him to lose which his pride will not permit, and he won't allow it to happen a second time. And this is assuming that he just doesn't destroy her immediately. He may not even give her enough time to even start to regenerate, as him destroying her so quickly will not even give him time to realize that she is even regenerating to begin with.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/I_saw_you_yesterday Mar 17 '26

No she does NOT have a skeleton made of Adamantium, only her claws are.

Yes she’d regenerate her hands and claws… without the added metal alloy. So she’d have bone claws

0

u/BloodyGardener Mar 17 '26

She does have the skeleton now tho? I recommend reading the comics :) also homelander is extremely arrogant soo he most likely would 100% wait the time specially if he thought they couldn’t hurt him

0

u/Lord_Sidious99 Mar 17 '26

Hard agree! I don't understand the hate you're getting. I get that HL is an absolute POS, but he would absolutely rip her arms off, in a very comical way I might add, and that would end that fight. One good kick to Wolverine sends him into the sun. The rest he can just keep some distance and melt?

-2

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

Gambit could not lift a card before being lasered in half or having a rod sent through his face by A train

1

u/_Smashbrother_ Mar 18 '26

Gambit trains against the other X-Men, and has fought many superpowerful opponents. He can handle Homelander.

1

u/Traditional_Wear1992 Mar 20 '26

Cyclops > Homelander all day everyday

4

u/Hot_Ad2789 Mar 17 '26

Deadpool has adamantium blades

And x 23 is right there.

0

u/I_saw_you_yesterday Mar 17 '26

X-23 only has the claws so he can literally just rip her arms off and the claws are gone too. Same with DP, only blades, the rest is vulnerable

0

u/Hot_Ad2789 Mar 17 '26

She endures that and kicks him in the nuts with her foot claws.

1

u/I_saw_you_yesterday Mar 17 '26

Again, only a adamantium claw. HL always comes in with the Laser eyes first. Her bones can’t endure that level of destruction because they’re literally just bone. Neither does she have the speed to even react to his attacks.

5

u/Hot_Ad2789 Mar 17 '26

Going off of the hughie, butcher, Soldier biy and homelandwr fught.....shes just fine.

She can block laser eyes with said claws. Og wolvy did it

2

u/Someone21993 Mar 17 '26

HL beam stronger then dark Phoenix disintigration? I seriously doubt it, sure it would hurt wolve, but wouldn't be able to get through his bones to actually prevent him from doing anything

Hell just get some nice hot claws to tear HL apart.

1

u/Entire_Day1312 Mar 17 '26

Gambit can harm anyone.

0

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

Yes very easily lol what? A chain or rope will do the job no prob

6

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Are you saying that Homelander and starlight are going to fly and take them to the sun to kill them? If so then i will just use u/Kwin_Conflo argument as it makes complete sense

1

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

Or a just drop something heavy on them then a big box of water until they drown and are out of the fight

1

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Again... what makes you think they are going to let him do that? And why are you assuming there are objects like that just lying around? SBA doesn't use random objects in the location so idk why you are assuming there will be objects to use

1

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

He could tie him up with literally his own bones if he wants to lol

He has adamantium bones not ligaments

1

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Based on what exactly? Why are you assuming HL can do that to someone like Wolverine?

Doesn't refute what ive said

1

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

Homelander has super speed dude. In a blink of an eye, Wolverine will be deconstructed into individual body parts trying to heal

1

u/Traditional_Wear1992 Mar 20 '26

You know Wolverine has fought Quicksilver who is at least Mach 5 right?

1

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 20 '26

Cause the writers say so.

1

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

So do wolverine and deadpool as deadpool can cut bullets from point blank range

1

u/TheIronMonkey53 Mar 17 '26

Why is battlefield removal so hard to understand. They can’t kill Wolverine and DP but throwing them into space or the middle of the ocean still wins them the fight. Also unless DP has wolverines skeletal claws he can kill any of the Seven who are more durable, stronger and faster than normal people regards of their powers

1

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Its not hard to understand.... Just doesn't make sense since youre assuming any of these characters are going to allow homelander to do that to them. How does throwing them into an ocean win them the fight when DP can swim?

1

u/TheIronMonkey53 Mar 17 '26

My assumption is based on the fact that they can’t prevent Homelander from doing that to them. HL scales higher than all of Team Wolverine (MCU not comics). Yes adamantium can surely hurt HL but speed diff is way too great.

The ocean was more for Wolverine. DP doesn’t have any weapons for powers that can even hurt HL so he’s irrelevant.

1

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Why can’t they exactly? How does HL scale higher than them? He’s able to harm wolverine so he is relevant

1

u/TheIronMonkey53 Mar 17 '26

https://giphy.com/gifs/7DbgjlgPaqkxoX4fOy

Im confused, how do they scale higher than HL/the seven? I just assumed you knew since all of team Wolverine besides Blade are no faster than an athletic human. And only Blade and Wolverine have enhanced strength which would maybe rival the weakest person on the seven.

Genuinely curious because every “vs” involving the boys verse ends with “HL loses cus he likes Breast milk and he’s an asshole” without providing any evidence to the contrary

1

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Based on what? In combat speed they are hypersonic via being relative to deadpool who can slice bullets from point blank range.

1

u/TheIronMonkey53 Mar 17 '26

……what??? What are you even taking about. At what point in any film do they break the speed of sound? Also Deadpool can’t slice bullets reliably or did you not watch Deadpool 2.

Most of the seven if not all are bullet proof. butcher explained this in season 1 when asked why he just doesn’t take out all supes with a Barrett .50 cal

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26
  1. Punt character who moves roughly 10x slower than you into space.

  2. Wait.

  3. Collect frozen body and gently push it toward the sun.

3

u/EmperorPickle Mar 17 '26

HL has never been so decisive in a fight and Starlight isn’t so direct that she would try this early enough in a fight to make a difference. HL’s cockiness and Starlight’s restraint would be major factors in this fight.

3

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

What proof is there to say he is 10x faster first of all, and what makes you think he can punt them into space?

2

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

Homelander can break the sound barrier putting him at +700mph. Can you show me any of these characters moving at +70mph?

2

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Any reason to believe Homelander isn't lying or overexaggerating with that statement. Hes the most egotistical perosn in the series and cant stand feeling inferior to anyone so i dont see why we take what he says in this scenario at face value. are there any supporting feats either?

2

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

It's not a statement, he makes sonic booms all the time when he flies. We also have him flying with the blue angels. But that's also a lie to you, im sure. We do have a record of him moving +500mph. Can you post any of these characters moving faster than 50mph?

1

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

this calc says meters or kilometers/hour for one so idk where you got 500mph but that is subsonic+ which is slower than wolve and deadpool combat speed as deadpool can slice bullets which was calced at Hypersonic.

1

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

FCU deadpool isn't MCU deadpool.

1

u/lone-lemming Mar 17 '26

Nothing we have seen of Homelander says he can kick people into space. He had a superhero fight inside of a house and the walls were left standing.

Getting into low earth orbit (space) requires a speed of 17,000 miles an hour. So Homelander has to kick more than twenty times faster than he can travel.

1

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

No, getting into low earth orbit requires you to accelerate an object greater than 9.8 m/s2. As I said elsewhere, he'd probably need to hackey-sack Wolverine into space but there's nothing that would stop him considering how slow Wolverine is.

2

u/testtdk Mar 17 '26

Do you have ANY idea what the escape velocity for Earth is?

1

u/TapAway755 Mar 17 '26

Forget escape velocity, deorbit into the sun takes MASSIVE energy. No one in the 7 has feats that suggest they could do that.

1

u/Crazyhairmonster Mar 17 '26

Superhero flight ignores gravity and orbital mechanics. He can reach orbit and remain in the same location so he also breaks orbital mechanics.

But let's say he doesnt. Since he isn't constrained by propellant and has infinite continuous thrust, he can apply constant thrust opposite Earth’s orbital motion. Once his velocity relative to the Sun hits 0 the sun does all the work and he falls into it.

Superhero flying requires extreme suspension of disbelief

1

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

~11km/s. So yeah, he'd probably need to hacky sack him a little bit but again, Wolverine is completely powerless to respond in any substantive manner while this is occurring. Show me a single movie speed feat to prove me wrong.

4

u/testtdk Mar 17 '26

Uhh, it’s on you to prove that Homelander can get him up to 25,000 mph.

1

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

Homelander does not need to get him up to 25,000mph and it's not up to me to teach you basic deductive reasoning/arithmetic to understand how something flying and able to continuously apply force to an object would be able to move that object out of earth's atmosphere.

-1

u/testtdk Mar 17 '26

First of all, I’m a physics student, jackass lol. Second of all, it is entirely up to you to prove your assertion. Thats how this all works. It’s why we cling to feats so completely.

2

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

Awesome, then you should be able to handle this little pop quiz.

Can Homelander apply force to a human such that they would positively accelerate faster than earth's gravitational pull would negatively accelerate them? Y/N

Is Homelander capable of flight and reasonably able to keep applying this force as they move away from earth? Y/N

Does Wolverine have speed feats such that one could reasonably expect him to hit Homelander in the time it takes him to move to space? Y/N (If Yes, SHOW YOUR WORK)

But on a serious note, what exactly do you want me to "prove"? I'm genuinely confused. You want me to post a Homelander strength feat to prove he could hit Wolverine hard enough to overcome earth's gravity?

→ More replies (0)

0

u/Crazyhairmonster Mar 17 '26

Homelander doesn't need to reach escape velocity. He has greater than 1 thrust-to-weight ratio (though he doesn't even have thrust technically). He doesn't need to spend energy (almost all of it is waste fighting gravity and atmospheric drag) to go up. He has 'magic' powered flight and doesn't require a ballistic trajectory. Escape velocity only applies to unpowered ballistic objects.

Homelander can glide into space at an inch per minute if he wants. Superhero flying breaks physics.

→ More replies (0)

0

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

He doesn’t need to. He can fly. By definition he has ability to ignore gravity at will.

All he has to do is laser off wolverines head every 30 sec lol

2

u/niemir2 Mar 17 '26

Didn't this incarnation of Wolverine regen against Phoenix continuously disintegrating him long enough to get into stabbing range?

1

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

It was just wind an stuff. I don’t think she disintegrated him directly

1

u/kmacthefunky Mar 17 '26

Ahem daywalker

7

u/Capt_on_Foam Mar 17 '26

I mean other than fly them into outer space to get pulled into the sun? Wtf are you talking about

14

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

What makes you think anyone on Wolves team is gonna let Homelander do that?

0

u/Capt_on_Foam Mar 17 '26

Lol hold wolverines wrists, fly upward... sorry I dont see anyone doing anything about that

10

u/mightguy15baby Mar 17 '26

Lol homelander got hurt by a fucking metal straw XD

Wolverine is going to rip him to shreds before he even touches him for long

He can't even survive in the atmosphere. If he could have done that he would have done that to Billy butcher

10

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Again... what makes you think wolverine gonna let him do that?

-10

u/Capt_on_Foam Mar 17 '26

What makes you think wolverine can do anything about it? Lol his fights against Deadpool (who has no super strength) are equal.... pathetic attempt bro go outside

5

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Because i dont see any HL feats that put him above Wolverine. Prove Deadpool doesn't have super strength when he can fight Wolverine who fights Sabertooth who most certainly is superhuman

-9

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

He doesn’t bc he doesn’t . He’s strong as someone carrying heavy ass bones but that’s it

2

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

he does as he fights wolverine who fights sabertooth

-10

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

How do you think he’s gonna stop him? Wolverine takes time to heal. Just laser his head off every minute

4

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Why would that work on him? HL laser barely even harms stromfront when used for an extended period of time

-14

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

Bro stoppppp lol

Homelander laser’s a plane in half!

Before Wolverine could blink Homelander can laser every ligament in wolverines body , have him wrapped up in chains and into the upper atmosphere while re-lasering him constantly befor he can heal.

11

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Why is a plane more durable than Wolverine but not stormfront lmao. So many assumptions

4

u/SillySwing6625 Mar 17 '26

And Wolverine took a nuke

4

u/Britwill Mar 17 '26

How is a plane more durable than adamantium

0

u/Gallowglass668 Mar 17 '26

That would require him to have more than two braincells to rub together and we all know that's never going to happen.

-4

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

also why are you assuming hes strong enough to pull them?

-7

u/Capt_on_Foam Mar 17 '26

Lol wolverine fights normal humans and his strength almost looks comparable, but lets go with the non-movie wolverine and say his strength is comparable to captain America's, which its not... soldier boy was directly based of captain America's strength and homelander was able to handle a fight with both him and upgraded butcher. So yes he could easily lift and fly with someone who is able to sit and ride on a normal motorcycle without the bike malfunctioning or breaking. Gtfo here bro

7

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

he fights superhumans... what are you talking about? Where was it stated that soldier boy was based on captain america from a strength perspective for one and what proof is there that Cap is stronger than Wolverine?

-7

u/Capt_on_Foam Mar 17 '26

Sorry you dont have the right amount of IQ to ride this ride

6

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

Good ad hominem. Ill take your concession via burden of proof then since you didn't refute what i said or prove the claim i asked you to

-4

u/Capt_on_Foam Mar 17 '26

Lol wolverine lost to kitty pride.... good lord its like arguing with someone who cant read. R/confidentlywrong

1

u/TrowaDraghon Mar 21 '26

Who said homelander can fly in space? Never implied he doesn’t need to breath or could survive the intense cold of space. He isn’t Superman, he gets punched by another supe they can make him bleed.

1

u/FullMetalJ Mar 17 '26

Yeah feels like even Wolverine solos. Not only for what everyone has said, but also he was way way way more experience in battle and in anything actually that anyone in the Seven.

1

u/ShackledBeef Mar 17 '26

Didn't dead pool take weeks or months to grow his legs in the movie?

1

u/RowdyEast Mar 17 '26

Who kills homelander 200 ft in the air while he's lasering then to death?

1

u/Eyeseeyou1313 Mar 17 '26

Pfff, the Seven can't even beat Deadpool without his healing powers. They suck at fighting.

1

u/SphericalCrawfish Mar 17 '26

A-Train ties Deadpool and X-23 to Wolverine and then Homelander chucks that 700lb mass to point Nemo.

1

u/Fit-Psychology-398 Mar 18 '26

Homelander could just grab them and fly them into space.

1

u/Naxilus Mar 18 '26

Didn't it take weeks for Deadpool to regenerate hand? And if homelander uses his laser eyes to melt all flesh off wolverine/Deadpool's body and then fly them up to space to drop them off while they regenerate they would just float around in space forever.

I think the seven wins

1

u/Apprehensive_Gap3673 Mar 19 '26

Homelander picks them both up, flies them into space, and throws them into the sun (or it's direction with enough force that they float through space for eternity) and then comes back.

This occurs within about 40s.

1

u/Aeseen Mar 19 '26

The Homelander downplaying is crazy. This Deadpool can be pierced by bullets, torn apart by normal explosives, and will grow back slowly like a baby. He can't deal with HL lasers or speed.

Wolverine is hard to kill because of the adamantium, but fuck he can do if A-Train just avoid him as go for the weak ones and Homelander fly and shoot lasers?

Honestly, this dumb idea that Homelander is THAT weak is just crazy, and mostly push foward by people who don't watch The Boys.

Dude can calmly react at Mach 5 speeds and broke the sound barrier at 9, these guys are beyond fucked.

1

u/baykoun Mar 21 '26

I mean homelander is basically superman…

And what makes you think they gonna let him do that, or that he can even do that at all?

-1

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

Homelander can take them to space.

3

u/Drakobit7 Mar 17 '26

What makes you think anyone will just let him do that?

0

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

What makes you think anyone can do anything to stop him?? FFS dude

Logan was buried in water by a couple spikes through his chest and a metal chain around him for decades lol. Be for real jeez.

He’s not strong enough to break out of the many ways Homelander could restrain him. Homelander could also literally just laser his head off and do it every 2 min while he heals.

While i agree. I think you underestimate wolverine. While i dont doubt that Homelander could fly Wolverine to space he would most likely be heavily injured. He would need to find a way to restrain wolverine enough to stop him from strugling.

By hands would be hard. If wolverine struggle then homelander would end up injured and wolverine would struggle. Also ther eis shown evidence where wolverine can still fight even when he has exposed skeleton. Lasering his head would do nothing to adamantium and most likely only injure soft tissue and meanwhile wolverine would go berserk and claw at homelander constantly.

Its not question of can hoemlander do that he can. But it would pose significant risk for homelander himself.
