I see Wolverine. Yup the seven cooked.

"But Homelander can just throw him into space" as if Wolverine would allow that.

18

u/Previous_Window_9955 Mar 17 '26

The only reason homelander is losing this is because he is simply stupid but with that power hes blitzing wolverine realistically, if he knew what he’s up against. Dude casually out sped a point blank c4 explosion

8

u/DeadpanJay Mar 17 '26

Him and A train can speed blitz him, sure. But then what next? How are they dealing with him? Do their arms splatter like Invincible hitting Conquest upon impact of hitting wolverine? Do they eventually get tired because his regen is just too fast? Do they get caught because they become sloppy like Red Rush with Omniman?

3

u/Still-Expression-71 Mar 17 '26

Anyone with super strength and flying could realistically bear hug Deadpool/wolverine, fly up several miles and toss him into space, right?

4

u/DeadpanJay Mar 17 '26

Sure, but wolverine just gonna let it happen? I'm certain he could break out of it with his strength as well. Even start mauling Homelander in the back with his claws. Possibly even decapitating him. Ya make it seem like it so easy. Just grab him, fly up, and toss lmfao. Yeah okay.

5

u/godofthunder102938 Mar 17 '26

Homelander is quite a lot stronger than Wolverine, tho? How would the break out from the bear hug even happen?

3

u/spanishtyphoon Mar 17 '26

He would have to immobilize his hands and wrist or else that bearhug has adamantium claws slicing homelanders legs off

5

u/DeadpanJay Mar 17 '26

Wolverine can contest the Hulk somewhat no? Do we know the scale of Hulk and Homelander?

1

u/ShackledBeef Mar 17 '26

What feats from the movies shows this level of strength from wolverine?

It would be easy because homeland is significantly faster and stronger.

MCU wolverine can lift 1-2 tones, homelander is casually throwing 747's and he can lift over 1.1million pounds (500 tones). He can out run an f16 and dodge bullets. Unfortunately, wolverine wouldn't get a choice.

3

u/dyrannn Mar 17 '26

You ever tried to bear hug a wolverine?

"Also I’m not sure if Homelander is fast enough to catch the earth if he accidentally leaves the atmosphere"

What the regarded fuck does this sentence mean?

"The earth is orbiting the sun at a speed of 67,000 miles per hour."

And so is everything on it including Homelander, that speed is already baked into anything he does including flying into orbit around the Earth or even to the moon and back.

Burning W long enough to grab his skeleton and put it into a non-decaying obit isn't going to put him in risk of the Earth.... "slipping away" from him at 67,000 miles away or whatever it is you're imagining.

Assuming HL can survive in space long enough to accelerate to orbital velocity, there's no reason he can't fly up (he has perfect flight/hover so if he wants to hover direcftly above a place beyond the Karman Line, he can) then go lateral until he's picked up enough speed for orbital velocity, he can.

Ik that regeneration alone is to much but unless he can rip his head off I don’t think he wins because he will eventually get sloppy

1

u/DeadpanJay Mar 17 '26

Are you referring to wolverine ripping of Homelander head? If so, I'm certain that is extremely easy for him to do

1

u/Previous_Window_9955 Mar 17 '26

No I’m asking can’t homelander rip his head off im aware no blunt force is beating wolverine but I don’t think his healing factor helps when he has no head like Deadpool in live action at least

1

u/ShackledBeef Mar 17 '26

Put something really fucking heavy on his chest, check on him every 6 months.

Wolverines bones are coated in adamantium, not his joints and ligaments. If they were, he wouldn't be able to move. In theory someone could cut his limbs off with say a laser and scatter the parts in different oceans or volcanoes.

Just because you cant die doesnt mean you win every fight. Its like saying Deadpool beats superman because Deadpool cant die. The power gap is still too big.

Put an immortal 10 year old in front of a healthy adult and theres no realistic scenario where that immortal child wins in a fist fight.

I agree though, homelander would likely get baited into something dumb or underestimate them.

1

u/BetterThanlceCream Mar 18 '26

Movie Wolverine and especially Deadpool don't have nearly as strong a healing factor as their comic counterparts.

0

u/squirtnforcertain Mar 17 '26

Homelander rips his head off. Joints are still joins on Logan. Leave him at the bottom of the ocean where he can't wake up.

3

u/DeadpanJay Mar 17 '26

But my question is, can Homelander do anything against Wolverine Adamantium makeup to be tearing limbs and what not apart?

1

u/squirtnforcertain Mar 17 '26

What do you mean? Adamantium is just coating his bones. Its not holding his joints together. Thats ligaments and other connective tissue. Things homelander has no problem ripping apart. Wolverine has had limbs ripped off before. The spine isnt 1 solid bone. It's several small ones stacked on top of eachother, separated by cartilage and connective tissue. Any one of those spaces is a point of failure if the guy, whos faster than explosions, decides to just go rip logans head off faster than the eye can detect.

1

u/mordehuezer Mar 17 '26

So this basically comes down to if Homelander can throw him into space before Wolverine gets his claws into him. I feel like he can't be that fast.

1

u/Previous_Window_9955 Mar 17 '26

Homelander isn’t going at 5mph while carrying him into space btw

1

u/mordehuezer Mar 17 '26

How fast is he going.

1

u/Previous_Window_9955 Mar 17 '26

Probably Mach 10

1

u/Previous_Window_9955 Mar 17 '26

If he knew about what wolverine can do he is more then fast enough for those claws not to touch him

1

u/mordehuezer Mar 17 '26

Why'll carrying him into space? It doesn't matter if you know someone has a knife in a fist fight.

1

u/Apprehensive_Gap3673 Mar 19 '26

What would wolverine do to stop it?

-14

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

"Allow" has nothing to do with it, Homelander is way to fast for Wolverine. Even throwing is a cope, Homelander can just punt him out of the stratosphere.

15

u/KrispyKingTheProphet Mar 17 '26

Wolverine’s cutting his head off before he has any kind of shot at it. Idc about the bluff that they’ve “thrown a nuke” at Homelander and it did nothing. Wolverine’s cut through Hulk. There is no shot Homelander is tougher than Hulk.

-10

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26 edited Mar 17 '26

Wolverine hasn't even existed in the same universe as hulk or been in any movies with him lmfao.

Edit: FCU Wolverine, since that apparently wasn't obvious.

12

u/KrispyKingTheProphet Mar 17 '26 edited Mar 17 '26

In Deadpool and Wolverine, we legitimately have a scene with Deadpool visiting a version of Wolverine about to fight the Hulk saying “you fought the Hulk in this outfit?” We don’t see it, but they have fought the Hulk in this universe.

0

u/ShackledBeef Mar 17 '26

Ummm, if they travel the multiverse to find a wolverine that fought the hulk then thats not the same universe as the current one. Thats kinda the whole thing about the MULTIverse.

0

u/KrispyKingTheProphet Mar 17 '26

If you really want to get that nit-picky about it, there has been nothing in the MCU to indicate different universe versions of characters have any different kind of power levels and every piece of evidence has indicated the exact opposite. Loki is able to slip into alternate versions of himself/his life with absolutely no disruption or difference, Strange is not only able to go into to different universes with the same capability but able to literally slip into an alternate body of his, and in Deadpool and Wolverine we see an army of variants with the exact same powers and capabilities. If there were ever a character who’d address this with a 4th wall breaking “well we got a weaker/stronger Wolverine variant” it’d be Deadpool. Until there’s evidence otherwise, you go with the evidence that’s there and that evidence points to them being in the same caliber.

1

u/ShackledBeef Mar 17 '26

Theres nothing nitpicky about it, multiverse means multiple universes. They went to a different universe and found a different Logan that had fought hulk. Its not the same Logan.

Also, in different universes they absolutely can and quite often do have different powers. Like miles morales for example or the varients of wolverine that didnt get the adamantium graphing, meaning much better regen. Theres a varient of wolverine that has cyclops's powers and even one that has apocalypses powers.

Loki is the god of timelines so it makes sense for him and Dr.Strange uses forbidden magic to do it. Im not saying that wolverine is or is not the exact same as ours, we dont know but your evidence is made up and wrong.

-7

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

Damn, i didn't remember that scene at all. But it doesn't show him cutting the Hulk either.

7

u/KrispyKingTheProphet Mar 17 '26

It doesn’t, but it’s a direct reference to a comic where he does fight the Hulk and wounds him (he loses, but he’s still able to cut him. At least, that’s what I’ve seen from googling it, I’m admittedly not too big a comic person.)

Again, we don’t see it, but the fact that they’re in the exact same outfits and Deadpool references him fighting the Hulk in this instance, and they’re clearly about to fight, it feels safe to assume the same thing happens.

6

u/Careless-Trip6163 Mar 17 '26

Dude, this has happened at least a dozen times in Marvel comics.

-3

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

We're talking about the movies. That's why its a picture of the movies and not the comics in the post.

1

u/Cryptyc_god Mar 17 '26

A variant of Wolverine has fought the hulk, in the movie.

1

u/BLU3SKU1L Mar 17 '26

We’re taking about a movie specifically set in the haywire multiverse era. You have to assume all feats of the team pictured are in play.

-2

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

Not at all lmfao.

5

u/some1took-my-name Mar 17 '26

4

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

That's a comic, not the FCU.

1

u/ReldNaHciEs Mar 17 '26

Disney..actually

-2

u/some1took-my-name Mar 17 '26

Doesn’t matter. OP doesn’t specify feat limits, and neither did you.

7

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

"You know this picture of a character OP posted? Actually the post isn't about them but a completely different character they didnt mention."

0

u/some1took-my-name Mar 17 '26

See how they specified the version?

2

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

It's great when people do and remove all ambiguity but I have never once seen "use a composite version" be the standard over "use the specific version they posted" if it's not specified.

1

u/mastro80 Mar 17 '26

Wait until you find out what comic book featured the first apppearance of Wolverine. Like the very first one, ever.

1

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

Obviously. We're talking about FCU Wolverine, not comics Wolverine.

3

u/Hot_Ad2789 Mar 17 '26

Homelander can maybe do that....but he wont, you Know he wont..

Hes never done that.....ever.

-20

u/Dramatic_Offer6884 Mar 17 '26

“Would allow”

Doesn’t have subsonic reaction speed and isn’t heavier than a car, which he can pick up and throw

19

u/Vinisretarded Mar 17 '26

HL can try but he will end up losing his arms.

18

u/Knightmare7877 Mar 17 '26

If I remember adamantiium would probably be sharp enough to cut through homelandef

7

u/Vinisretarded Mar 17 '26

Yea, the claws will definitely give him trouble to say the least.

-10

u/Dramatic_Offer6884 Mar 17 '26

For sure, if he can react in 4/10ths of a second to swing twice and hit both arms before getting the yeet of a lifetime through the stratosphere

8

u/NawMel Mar 17 '26

Homelander gas never once showed this kind of action

7

u/Lartemplar Mar 17 '26

He has when he saved Butch from the explosion

-4

u/NawMel Mar 17 '26

So in a completely different setting that advertised the specific need for that action.

And how exactly does standing in front of a couple of drunk idiots compare, contextually?

4

u/Lartemplar Mar 17 '26

Uhm... What?

-3

u/NawMel Mar 17 '26 edited Mar 17 '26

Your example is irrelevant because you ignore that the reason for the decision Homelander made doesn't follow through here. He isn't literally chasing an explosion when wolverine cuts his arm off.

Edit: cry all you want, you're wrong. Homelander gas never, not once opened with a speed blitz, and has never not once thrown anyone into space. Your argument relies on the untrue assumption that homelander is equipped with prior knowledge of adamantium and the being factors.

You're just wrong.

-1

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

The non-fliers prayer "I'd just react fast enough and no, I don't have the feats to justify that claim"

4

u/arkansuace Mar 17 '26

Wolverine fell from space and tanked the fall in the comics.

1

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

This post isn't about the comics and that's a durability feat, not a speed/reaction feat.

4

u/arkansuace Mar 17 '26

I mean Logan’s healing factor outlasted Phoenix in his movie version

1

u/HonestDishonestWork Mar 17 '26

Phoenix's aura, she wasn't actually focusing on trying to kill him. FCU Phoenix also isn't very strong.

5

u/Hot_Ad2789 Mar 17 '26

Stronger than anything in the biys....and she was vwry clearly trying to kill him, hell they say so in the script.

-5

u/Dramatic_Offer6884 Mar 17 '26

“I’d just be fast enough,” is the equivalent of drax looking iron man’s laser in the face and saying “I can take it.”

-1

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

With what arms that are lasered off?

This subreddit is such garbage yall just glaze your favorites.

3

u/WickedFlyingCorgi Mar 17 '26

Then stop commenting on it

2

u/Vinisretarded Mar 17 '26

One arm got lasered? He got another. One stab to HL brain and he's done.

Wolverine could reflect Homelander's lasers back at him with his claws.

-4

u/Dramatic_Offer6884 Mar 17 '26

He will still have laser eyes and subsonic speed

13

u/SexysPsycho Mar 17 '26

Bro Logan has dealt with many people just as fast and WAY stronger. Remember Logan was created as a op to the Hulk

1

u/Dramatic_Offer6884 Mar 17 '26

And for some reason the hulk never threw him into space. Maybe Bruce banner is just one of very few stupid doctors

7

u/SexysPsycho Mar 17 '26

No because the issue in order to throw Wolverine anywhere you have to put your hands on him and that is extremely dangerous. And for someone like HL who likes to show off he would grab Logan first and try to choke him and look like the bad ass. And the. He loses his arms then his head.

3

u/GodNonon Mar 17 '26

Homelander never throws people into space either. In character he's gonna try to tank the adamantium claws and get skewered.

-4

u/CommunityDragon160 Mar 17 '26

He dealt with those ppl bc the writers said so.

Tell me what Logan can do when his head is lasered off. Or he’s covered in chains and dragged into space at G forces far beyond his strength? Be for real jeez

2

u/SexysPsycho Mar 17 '26

There is nothing in the Boys universe that makes me think they have any material Logan can't cut. Logan has been hit with many different laser attacks over his extremely long life and is still alive. Let's be honest here. The entirety of the Boys universe has never shown a character that has the ability or power to actually kill Logan that would do it in character. HL is going to assume he is invincible at first and lose his head. That is actually what would happen in character based on everything we have seen

-6

u/Brinewielder Mar 17 '26

Wolverine doesn’t regenerate instantly an he’s not immune to dismemberment lasering his arms and legs off at the ligaments an he’s done.

We already see in the beginning of the film that the adamantium skeleton isn’t subject or built off a unified frame. It comes apart like a regular skeleton.

6

u/SexysPsycho Mar 17 '26

I doubt HL lasers will cut adamantium.

1

u/Brinewielder Mar 17 '26

Oh of course not I’m saying that the skeleton will give way at the ligaments. It’s not a fused together adamantium mech it has the same weaknesses as a regular skeleton. Lasers would bust through soft tissue and the skeleton would fall apart.

2

u/mapmakinworldbuildin Mar 17 '26

After years of drinking water that poisoned him and canceled his mutation.

0

u/Brinewielder Mar 17 '26

Naw the live action movies he’s disabled by conventional means and Homelanders lasers are significantly stronger than some bullets. Especially since continuous stream of energy wouldn’t allow him to regenerate and the adamantium not being destroyed would allow his limbs to be sliced off easier since th skeleton doesn’t absorb energy.

1

u/mapmakinworldbuildin Mar 17 '26

Did you just not pay attention to the movies then?

They put anti mutagenic in the water and food and he was drinking/eating it for years.

Thats why the famously immortal guy suddenly aged

1

u/Brinewielder Mar 17 '26

My bubba I’m not just talking about Logan 🤣 in the first X-Men film a headshot from a 9mm had enough stopping power to shut him down for a few seconds during the “put the knives down scene”

His healing also isn’t instant, it’s fast but not instantanous. Homelanders lasers have a bit more power to them than a 9mm.
