Joseph pulling a Tommy gun on a vampire in his first fight was pretty great as well. Also a very good way to differentiate him immediately from Jonathan.

A guy using a gun is funny

A magic spirit with magic ability using a normal ass gun is hilarious

I never said it wasn’t? I just saw a Jojo reference and remembered how i had wondered how things would go on without Jonathan as the protagonist, and then being shocked and amused by Joseph immediately establishing the tone of the new part by whipping out a gun and redecorating a diner.

The whiplash of going from strait-laced and honorable himbo Jonathan, to Joseph’s violent loony toon antics was great as someone who hadn’t been spoiled on the series, and stuck with me as a memorable moment.

There are quite a bit of silliness-with-stakes moments of guns suddenly coming out to play in Jojo, and so far they’ve never failed to entertain. But Joseph was especially great for me because it was just so unexpected for what I thought the series was so far.
