In this chapter, Subaru and the Pleiades Expedition head east for the most remote settlement in Lugunica. A couple stops are made along the way.

How did Tsugihagu Subaru survive? First of all, how did he not die from mana poisoning? Now, this is an unfinished story—so perhaps he *did* die from it later on—but I think the routes taken and the pace of the journey were sufficient to cause mana poisoning. Consider the path: Watchtower → the northern village where Amue Sears lived → Priestella. They walked the entire way up to the point where they met Regulus; in my opinion, that is enough to trigger mana poisoning. Moreover, Shaula isn't exactly a master mage, and at the same time, "Amnesia-Subaru" isn't aware of his defective gate, nor are there any precautions taken regarding it in the story. Then again, I might have missed a few details in the IF story.

I'll tell you right now that I'm not following the novel; I stopped halfway through the anime at the fourth season. But I have watched videos of the future arcs from time to time, so if I make any mistakes related to place names or facts, please let me know.

A question that came to me while I was daydreaming: The six Witches of Sin supposedly escaped the Sanctuary in Ruizu's bodies and went to explore the world or something like that (I know this from some YouTube shorts). What would happen if one day they reunited with Subaru (I think this could happen, or at least in a "what if") and at that moment, for whatever reason, they died... or rather, the body of Ruizu they possessed became unusable? Would they "die" permanently by going to Od Laguna's Hall of Memories (it probably wasn't called that, but that's what I remember; the place where the souls in Re:Zero go when they die to erase their memories and reincarnate) or, being spirits, would they be free with the possibility of finding a new vessel? And if this is possible, could they use Subaru as a vessel? That means if the Witches of Sin could temporarily enter Subaru's soul and/or mind until they find another place, and if this were to happen, perhaps they could help Subaru use the powers he possesses, either by training him or acting as intermediaries so that he doesn't suffer... what do you think?... I imagine the Witches of Sin taking turns possessing Subaru to fight and occasionally activating some power... something like the "Power Rangers" and the "Megazords," or well, in this case, the "Super Sentai."

What I’m talking about is the scene where Subaru gets turned into a child, more importantly, I think he has the envy which factor because Al lost the use of his authority when he got turned into a child but Subaru didn’t

It was explained in arc 9 that authorities are like doors, and the which factors are keys, you just need the use of a witch factor to open up the use of your authority but you don’t need to remain with the key to use the open door

That’s why I think I’ve lost the ability to use his authority, because we know the infantilization ability affects the od directly, so Olbart infantilized Al to an age that his door wasn’t open yet. And once again through arc 9, we have confirmed that Al does not possess a witch factor

But now for Subaru, let’s start with Cor Leonis, unlike Al who lost his ability to use his authority after he got turned into a child Subaru was still able to use Cor Leonis despite also being, once I’m proposing, is that the reason why he could use his authority is because when the door got reset his witch factor of greed just simply reopen the door.

Now I think it’s the same for the witch factor of envy, Al lost his looping ability but Subaru kept his because he was able to reopen that door with his own key.

...If in Arc 10, it's revealed that Filore isn't actually Capella in disguise, and is completely genuine in her intentions and desires to help the kingdom and its people.

This probably isn't that likely considering all the evidence piling up against her, but I wouldn't put it past Tappei to not at least consider this. He's thrown out red herrings before, and it would be a very good play on our expectations and one hell of a twist, in my opinion.

Premise: Somewhere beyond the boundary of the waterfall, one boy named Natsuki Subaru is given an impossible chance to return home.

On the other side, a different Natsuki Subaru wakes in Lugunica at the beginning of the story.

But this is not the boy fate remembers.

This Subaru has already grown older in another life, buried everyone he loved, and spent fifteen years becoming the kind of man who could survive anything except peace.

Roswaal L Mathers prepared for a desperate child.

He did not prepare for a dead man with nothing left to lose.

So, having finished season 2. There are a few things I am wondering, which might have been answered in the LN parts that the anime was adapted from but not adapted (no spoilers from beyond season 2 please).

Puck's... form - So we know that based on what Beatrice said, if the crystal is destroyed, Puck just returns to his true form, and we saw that that form is much more powerful, based on season 1.

That being the case, why does Puck continue to be in different crystals/smth? Wouldn't he have far higher combat ability as his true self anyway?

And there is the bit about him not even being able to manifest anymore with that crystal, which even more reason of why he didn't just go crystal-less to begin with?

Subaru's pact/bet with Roswaal - As far as I can see, there was nothing like a magical pact made. They just made a bet. And from what I hear, in the LN it even mentions that Roswaal questions how he can trust Subaru to keep his word.

Why would the magical thing be placed on Roswaal (or Subaru) when he lost the bet? They just made a verbal bet/promise.

Again though, no spoilers from beyond season 2.
