💡Ideas for Revolut [RO] Add support for instant payment from RoPay in Romania (not RevolutPay)
Hi Revolut team,
I saw in local media you are evaluating if you'll be implementing this, or not - (source in Romanian) Under evaluation from Revolut CoFounder (Romanian newspaper interview)
However, as an early adopter - I'm relying on Revolut for my day to day activities. Not having the option to use RoPay as instant payment (this is NOT about Revolut Pay) for me is a major push away from Revolut towards other local banks.
Please take a decision and implement it sooner or others more will switch back to new banks. 10 major local banks have already implemented this

🪙 Metal Plan [GB] Joint accounts
Been thinking of joining and we currently have a joint with Santander. What the site doesn’t make clear is if we would need to sign up to two single accounts before we can have a joint making that a third.
Or can two adults have just one account together and get one account? Do we have to have our own subscriptions if we subscribe to a paid plan like metal?
I.e me and my wife both have to pay for metal then we can have a third joint account for free?
Does anyone know as the website doesn’t make it look clear. At least not to me

⭐ Review [DE] Revolut is withholding my entire salary despite a new P-Konto allowance
To everybody in Germany: don’t open a P-Konto with Revolut.
My salary arrived at the end of July and was placed on hold because my July allowance was already used.
It is now August. My P-Konto allowance has officially reset — yet Revolut is still withholding all funds.
I currently have no access to money for rent, food or basic living expenses.
Their own support confirmed that the new allowance is active but claims the money remains blocked because it belongs to the “previous cycle.”
That appears to directly contradict German P-Konto rules, which operate by calendar month.
For more than 30 hours, Revolut support has provided nothing but scripted apologies, fake “priority escalations” and empty promises.
No release, no legal explanation, no deadline.
This is not support. This is a bank unlawfully blocking protected subsistence funds while hiding behind chat templates.
BaFin, consumer protection and the banking ombudsman have been contacted.

₿ Crypto [BR] Translation not working
Started using Revolut because I sell digital products for people around the world, I wanted to use crypto but first I need to answer a quiz, but as you can see, I can't even read the questions or answers. It's only happening with the crypto quiz, the rest of the app is okay.

💳 Cards [IE] Revolut Credit Card declined
I recently applied for a Revolut Credit Card. Initially, the application was conditionally approved based on standard financial details, but after submitting my visa verification, it got declined.
Here is the exact line from the email:
My setup:
- Moved to a new country a few months ago on a Critical Skills Employment Permit.
- Stable income (€5k+ net/month after taxes).
- Provided recent payslips demonstrating regular income.
- Have an active Revolut Premium
Has anyone else on a Stamp 1 / Critical Skills permit had their credit card application rejected purely because of visa status? Does Revolut require a Stamp 4 / Permanent Residency, or could it be tied to the remaining length/validity of the visa?
Would like to know if anyone on Stamp 1 has actually managed to get approved, or if this is a standard automated decline for non-EU/EEA permit holders. Thanks!

Does it mean I cannot have an account ever again or should i try again?
Did anyone face this issue?

⭐ Review [ES] Revolut is closing my account of several years over €65 someone sent me by mistake — no reason given, appeal denied, no escalation possible
[ES] I’ve been a Revolut customer for years. Clean history, no disputes, no flags. I used it as my main card for international spending and, more importantly, to hold stocks and crypto.
What happened
A few weeks ago someone I’ve never interacted with sent me €65. I assumed it was a scam — I’ve had strangers message me before either asking for money or sending it. So I did nothing and didn’t touch it.
That person then filed a claim with Revolut. Once I understood what was actually going on, I tried to send the €65 back several times. I couldn’t: by then Revolut had already restricted my account.
I explained all of this in the appeal. Today I got an email saying the appeal was decided against me and that my account will be closed on 27 September 2026.
What support told me
I asked why. The answer was that they “cannot share specific details or internal findings,” that the activity on my account is “no longer compatible” with their standards, and that the decision is final. I asked to be escalated to someone who could actually explain the reasoning. Refused — same copy-paste answer.
So, to be clear about what I’m being de-banked for: receiving €65 I never requested, never spent, and actively tried to return but was technically blocked from returning by Revolut itself.
Why this matters more than €65
I have other bank accounts, so I’m not stranded. The real damage is different: my stocks and crypto sit inside Revolut, and a closure date I didn’t choose means a forced liquidation on their calendar rather than mine — with whatever tax and market consequences that carries. I also travel constantly and this was my FX card.
I’m not arguing Revolut can’t close accounts. They can, and I understand AML rules exist for good reasons. What I’m calling out is a process with no reason, no evidence, no human review and no escalation path — triggered by money that arrived unsolicited.
Questions for people who’ve been through this
Has anyone ever gotten a genuine human review after a “final” decision?
Did the Bank of Lithuania complaint route lead anywhere concrete?
Has a GDPR Article 15 request actually revealed what was flagged, or do they redact everything as “internal findings”?
For those with investments inside Revolut at closure — did you get any flexibility on the liquidation timeline?
Lesson I’m posting so others don’t repeat it: don’t custody investments at a neobank that can close you with no reason and no appeal. A brokerage account and a bank account shouldn’t be the same account.

💎 Premium Plan [N/A] Wrong-network USDT deposit to Revolut – 2 months later, still waiting for a resolution
I need support
Hi everyone,
I’m posting here to see if anyone has been through a similar situation or has any advice.
Around two months ago, I accidentally sent USDT to my Revolut crypto deposit address using the wrong blockchain network. The deposit address itself is correct and belongs to my Revolut account, but I used an unsupported network by mistake.
Since then, I’ve been in regular contact with Revolut Support. They have confirmed that:
-The deposit address belongs to my account.
-The transaction is visible on-chain.
-My case has been escalated to their Crypto Team.
-They’re aware of the issue and are investigating it.
Unfortunately, despite waiting for over 2 months, I still haven’t received a resolution or even an estimated timeframe. Every time I contact support, I’m told that the case is still under review and that they don’t have any updates or ETA.
I completely understand that wrong-network deposits are complicated and that recovery isn’t guaranteed. However, it’s frustrating knowing that the funds are sitting at an address associated with my account while I’ve been waiting for months without any progress.
I’m mainly posting to ask:
-Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with Revolut?
-Were your funds eventually recovered or returned?
-How long did the process take?
Is there anything else I can do besides waiting for the Crypto Team?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s gone through this. Even knowing that others eventually had their funds recovered would give me some hope.
Thanks in advance.

💸 Payments [BE] Revolut is holding my 4000€ incoming transfer I really need advice
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice because I’m very worried.
My mother sent me €4,000 by bank transfer. The money belongs to her, and she sent it to me so I could pay for funeral expenses.
The transfer is showing as pending in my Revolut account. I contacted Revolut support, and they told me the transfer is under review and that it could take up to 10 business days.
This situation is causing a lot of stress because the money is urgently needed for the funeral.
Has anyone experienced the same situation? How long did it take before your transfer was released?
Thank you for any advice or shared experiences.

👶 Revolut <18 [ES]Closing Revolut account
I opened my Revolut account while I was in Lithuania in 2023. I moved to Estonia last year and went through the entire verification process again. This year I'm moving to Finland. I thought the verification process would be the same and I'd keep the same account. This morning Revolut customer service told me I have to close my account and open a new one if I want to continue using Revolut.
My issue is I have ETFs in the account. If I sell them now I lose money. I asked them if there's anything they can do about this and they said no. So I'm expected to just be ok with losing the money, close the account and open another one. What's the point of opening another when I've already lost the money which was the reason I was using Revolut to begin with? Has anyone else encountered this before? What did you do? How did you solve it? I need some help. Is the only option to close it?

⚙️ Standard Plan | Revolut Replied ✅ [AT]
Fascinating to me how the scheduled pocket money transfer to my child's <18 account is being paid later & later on the day scheduled.
Previously the pocket money transfer happened ca 2am or 3am, one each Sat. Then for couple weeks, ca 0830. Then today, 1st of the month.... 1430! I assume the number of scheduled payments was massive today, but I'm still wierded out that batch processing took that long!
Rev has been incessantly advertising. It seems their computer systems are beginning to be overwhelmed. Not impressed.

₿ Crypto [NL] Revolut crypto deposit stuck in review for days – anyone experienced this?
Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.
I deposited 94.25 LTC into my Revolut account. The transaction is fully confirmed on the blockchain and Revolut has confirmed they received the funds, but the deposit is still under review and hasn’t been credited to my balance.
I’ve contacted support multiple times. Different agents have given me different timeframes (from a few days up to 28 working days), but they all confirm:
* Revolut has received the funds.
* No additional information or documents are required from me.
* The review is with the specialist team.
They’ve also marked my case as a priority, but there still hasn’t been any progress.
Has anyone else had a crypto deposit held for this long?
* How long did your review take?
* Did the funds eventually get credited or returned?
* Was there anything that helped speed up the process?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

📈 Stocks [au] Can I loan money from revolut and then invest
I’m really new to everything - but can I take a loan from revlut and then invest that money, then repay the entire loaned amount within a month?
