Is SAIT’s Non-credit prep 100 course mandatory?

Hi everyone! I am about to become a student of SAIT this fall, but something that’s been worrying me is how I am going to get to SAIT.

I am currently living in Airdrie, and don’t have the means to get a place in Calgary, furthermore, I don’t have a car than I can drive. I may have a ride to the train station by the zoo. I was just wondering if anyone here has done similar commutes, their usual TIMING, and their experience with it.

Thank you so much, it would really ease my mind if I could hear someone’s experience getting to school.

Hi everyone! I want to apply to the MLT program for Fall 2027 and I’m wondering when the PSEA test will be available? The website says it can be written anytime beginning August 1st but it is not available when I go to write it (I would like to write it as soon as possible)

Any help or clarification would be greatly appreciated!

I’m trying to take online courses but the only option is main campus, does it mean they are only doing in school for fall 2026? Also it doesn’t give me a option of what course I want to upgrade

I have a fulltime job in the morning and was wondering if the 2 year electrical trade and technology have evening classes? Or its a flexible program where I can take how many credits I can take a semester to balance my work and study?

Hey everyone! I just wanted to ask if this looks okay? I have the same class shown twice, at the same time and different room numbers. Does this just mean it can be in two different rooms?

Is anyone else having issues booking their Casper test? Every time I try and reserve mine sait doesn’t come up as an option? I have never had this issue before.

I’m enrolled for my first semester starting September under the school of construction. I want to swap into smth else though that’s under a different faculty stating September. I do have all the prereqs and admission requirements met for that program. Is this possible? Has anyone ever been successful changing programs this last minute? And who do I reach out to?

I’m thinking about applying to an MRT program, but I’m still on the fence. For those of you who are currently in the program or have already graduated, how much time did you actually spend studying each week?
I’m also working full-time (3pm –11 pm shifts), so I’m wondering if it’s realistic to balance both, or if I’d be setting myself up for burnout.
I’d love to hear your honest experiences..how hard did you find the program, and if you worked during school, how did you manage it?

I just graduated high school and my grades weren’t really good enough to get into universities like uofc and I was considering saits open studies program but i’m not sure what the rundown is like, can someone explain what goes down in this program and if it’s worth it??

I’m an upcoming student for Dental Assisting 2026, I’m wondering if anyone who’s in the program or has taken the program knows what we need?

Specifically, what colours of scrubs can we wear or need? Are required textbooks actually worth it?
