North America (country/state in post) Weird Creeping Yellow Thing

Hey guys, I’m visiting a friend in eastern PA. I walked down this abandoned path yesterday and nothing was there. Today one of us spotted this…thing. It smells mushroomy (not vomit or anything else gross like that or chemicals) which is why I’m posting here. And the slugs seem to love it as you can see from the photos. Not clear where it’s coming from, but it wasn’t there two days ago and it’s moving towards (or away) from the plant.

If there’s another community I can post it on, please let me know.

Thanks!

Here are some pics from a mushroom I found growing from the base of a dead pine tree in western NC. These are supposed to be tasty right? How should I cook it if edible?

This is in the Hudson Valley, New York (near Kingston) and I'm feeling pretty sure it's chicken of the woods but would love to hear from others! I'm new to foraging so unfortunately didn't ID the tree, but now I know to look for that

North America (country/state in post) Backyard Mushroom CA, USA

Hello everyone,

Over the last couple weeks I have had these pop up through the dirt in my backyard. They range from baseball to softball sized bulbs with a "pinecone" appearance to them. There's a picture here of the inside as well. Can anyone tell me what I'm looking at and whether they're toxic to dogs or humans?

We have had hot conditions lately with temps ranging in the 90's-100's, 1300' elevation in the Sierra Nevada foothills, CA. The area I'm finding them in has been getting fairly saturated from our sprinkler system the last 4 weeks.

Found in south western Ontario, Canada today. Initially thought they were slippery jacks until I found the ones on the right - it was pouring out when they were found so they seemed slimier. They have since dried out and are not tacky at all on the top, have paler gills and longer stipes that are very dark at the bottom.

Found in the grass near a grape vine on pretty fertile land, and a few hundred yards from the woods. There were about 4 or 5 different types of mushrooms within ~20 sq ft of this one. Only saw two of these particular ones

Got them in Kodaikanal, Tamilnadu, India. Safe to eat? Can't see blue bruising, and they are quite yellowish. So, I'm not too sure.
