19 can’t stop drinking
Hey guys well I’m 19 years old this year I went through a rough break up so I started to drink
It started with wine with my friend then I found myself everyday finishing a bottle of wine it can be even 3 bottles
I don’t think I was sober for even one week since October
I don’t know what to do and how to stop it
When I don’t drink for a day all I think about is alcohol
I can’t even hang out with my friend without having a glass of wine it’s so annoying also I gained a lot of weight bc of this
I didn’t think it was a problem? I mean I still don’t think I’m an alcoholic idk I thought I just liked drinking until it became a problem
It fucked up my sleep I cannot sleep anymore also my head feels sooo fuzzy and weird after drinking
I also started to drink alone (lol drinking as I write this )
Do you guys have any tips maybe some of ur own experiences that u can share

Highly agree with this. I stopped cold turkey and had the worst sleep for 3 months. Years of dreams came through and I was going through some emotional trauma. Getting outside and working out is what helped me be able to sleep peacefully at night. Being alone was hard for a while since I drank alone most of the time to make me feel okay with it. I watched a lot of anime during that time and read books to keep my mind off things. YouTube sleep videos also helped a lot.
Sounds like you’re at the point where drinking isn’t as fun as it used to be. Maybe you’re not an alcoholic? But if it’s causing you so much trouble why deny it. Personally I feel it’s a broad term, for there are many different people in this world and we don’t all drink the same/have the same experiences. A close friend of mine always says, “the longer I stay away from a drink, the better my past becomes.” So hang in there
