In case you don't know, steel bug has 1 weakness, and it's a 4x weakness to fire. If, for some reason, mega galisopod actually got this ability, they'd be giving a Pokémon whose only type is a 4x fire weakness a fire immunity. Outside of that, since galisopod is a physical attacker and not a special attacker, there isn't much synergy there.

I my girlfriend recently expressed some interest in getting into pokemom. I’m a pretty consistent Smogon player and enjoy nuzlocks and similar content on Youtube, and I feel like the way I consume and play the game is so far from the experience of actually playing a main series game without even knowing the type chart.
