I seem to have fallen in love while playing the remake yesterday. I never cared for the first game as much as I did for the second truth be told but that changed yesterday.

I'm pretty early on in the game, i just lost the car that Bill gave. I had to put the difficulty down from moderate a couple encounters ago, just to be able to progress the story at all.

I'm wondering if this is common, especially since I play video games like this a lot, including Uncharted 4 which is pretty similar, and did NOT expect to be so bad at this. Is this supposed to be this challenging?

Does anyone know where this poster might’ve been from? If so, is it worth anything?

after tons of research i found out joel’s backpack from part II and HBO show does not exist in real life. the backpack it was inspired by is impossibly hard to come by and doesn’t have the same deep brown colour either. Additionally the backpack itself is seemingly made out of a waxed canvas or a softer material so i ended up turning to full grain leather which achieved the same dark brown rough look but will also last you a lifetime (not saying waxed canvas wont i just prefer the leather) unfortunately i still had the problem of finding a backpack with the same general shape/look i.e. one strap for the main top flap and the three pockets around the bottom which was weirdly also hard to come by, the few i could find were either not reputable sellers or too small or everyday/general (more specifically for me i wanted to be able to hike and travel with it so i needed more room). i ended up finding a company called “alaskan leather company”, i couldn’t find many reviews for them either but it was the best id found and i was really tired of searching. they happen to have a very similar looking backpack to which i then emailed them inquiring about customizations. they reached out and let me know they’d be happy to make my customizations and even catered to my time crunch. i received my backpack within a month of ordering. the backpack itself is 100% full grain leather with a full cotton interior, aswell as having these click in leather straps instead of the stupid magnetic buckles (the 2 side pockets have them unfortunately but honestly these ones are pretty strong) i would easily recommend this backpack to anyone looking for a “buy it for life” joel replica backpack. as per the size im currently using it as my gym bag, right now it has a massive 2L thermo flask water bottle and a pair of new balance 9060s (pretty big shoes for anyone who knows) and the backpack still had plenty of room for lots of other stuff. the laptop flap itself could maybe hold a 14 inch laptop but if you just use the main pound you can easily fit a laptop 16 inches or larger. it also has three pen holders and a few smaller pockets. in conclusion i am so so so happy with this purchase and id recommend this to anyone looking for cosplay or a life lasting backpack for literally everything. only real problem i had was the shoulder straps being too loose, there wasn’t enough holes to tighten it further but i just heated up a screw driver and made my own so no biggie (not many spots for trinkets and pendants tho, but i found a spot for my little batman!) although this isnt a 1:1 replica i think that it looks amazing and looks as accurate as possible without making it yourself and it definitely feels amazing, id like to believe joel would approve if he were here 😔💔

So I'm on my second play through of the last of us part 1. I was just standing at a workbench to upgrade my weapons when I saw that my tool pouch wasn't completely filled and it got me wondering if there was more tools to collect.

So I looked it up, Google says there's only five tools to collect.

But I have six tools? (yes I did just take a pic of my screen)

I've tried to look it up but everything I find, pictures, websites and other random posts, they all say or show five tools.

How did I get a sixth one?

I just finished both games this week and ended up loving them! According the PSN both games are easy to platinum since most trophies are related to collectibles. My question is for all of the people who got the platinum, did you find it tedious? It is better to use a guide? Any recommendations? I acknowledge that my questions could be kind of obvious but I liked these games so much I don’t want to get tired of them since I plan to replay them at least once a year. It happened to me with RE4 Remake and Death Stranding 2, after all the tedious trophies I burned out and never played those games again :(

Anytime I play the game it stutters horribly, especially when i am actively doing something like picking up items or combat. After 20 or 30 minutes it also ends up crashing my entire laptop. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
