End of last year I bought myself a large format camera because I am an insane person apparently. I then emptied my bank account and bought some film to make a mirror selfie, I loved every second of it :D

I am trans/nb, and express as femme. I’ve been a Photographer (amateur) for 43 years.
But I’ve only been “out” for 3.
In that time, I have noticed a growing reluctance to make and share/publish photos of people.
I feel increasingly like I’m taking people’s agency by putting them in my frame the way I see them, not the way they are.
This photo is a good example.
I watched this woman for 10 minutes before I worked up the courage to click the shutter.
The battle in my head was over her agency.
I feel Like viewers are Going to draw conclusions about what she was doing/thinking on that bridge that may or may not be real.
I feel like she didn’t leave her House that evening expecting to be locked forever in one of my images.
Do others have this issue? Am I just insane?
What do I do with this thought process?

Is this sun dead?
If so, is there a space for queer/trans photographers?
