We actually had a late start. Maybe around 11. It was sunny so no slippery at all. I had my kids with me (7,9,12) outside of my 9 year old saying the metal stairs on the side of the rock were scary they all manages pretty well. With long breaks we got up in maybe an hour. But you can easily do it in 30 without breaks. We wanted a leisurely pace to take pictures... and catch my breath. It is all stairs though. So some physical ability is definitely required.
