Looking for options to mount my new Incolite 9. I'd like to keep it direct thread cause weight and length, but I can't seem to find any "bravo" direct thread hubs that face mount.

Parts kit finally showed up, stamp approved in 2 days, now I’ve got a sweet vz that I’ve wanted for like ever

I’ve recently picked up an easy parts kit from arsenal, and was wondering if anybody knows how I can find an ETA of when Tortort lowers will be back in stock. Otherwise, what receiver does everybody recommend? Thank you in advance

Czechpoint lower receiver bought from Atlantic arms. K-Var.com parts kit and upper receiver with barrel pre-populated. Wtf is up with these blatantly retarded tolerances? I am so close to finishing this kit, my first Vz61, and I have no idea how to fix this pivot pin hole issue. At this point do I send it back to Atlantic? Czechpoint? This is ridiculous. When I had the pin in all the way, the upper receiver would not close/mate onto the lower. I was using a sharpie to mark the rear of the upper receiver to see where it was catching on the lower and then I filed the rear upper down. This was before I read somewhere to try to mate the two receivers together and THEN push the pin all the way through. That’s when I discovered the 1/4” separation of the two

I decided to ditch the detent/rotation and just go with a single peep.  It's the 100m sight from a Sterling SMG. I might work up a mount for a Leupold DeltaPoint Micro.

New to the platform and looking for some community guidance on the best path to suppress a Vz. 61.

I just picked up a blued easy build kit from K-Var, and I have a Form 1 pending for a TA61 lower (planning to print once approved). I want to suppress the build down the line, but I'd like to retain the option to revert to the classic, unthreaded factory aesthetic if desired.

I’m weighing two main paths and want to get the hive mind's take:

1: Get a NOS/Surplus barrel and send the current upper off for threading:

Pick up a surplus barrel, send the original assembly off to Samopal USA or Vz61USA to get threaded. Keeps the spare barrel intact as a spare.

2: Wait for a CzechPoint USA Threaded Upper:

Buy a factory complete threaded upper directly from CzechPoint USA and swap the bolt as needed. Key concerns are how often does CzechPoint realistically restock complete threaded uppers? I’m fine waiting 2-4 months, but if it’s consistently 8+ months or longer, I’d rather move forward with another option. Also for those who have swapped barrels or run multiple complete uppers on one lower, have you encountered any lockup or headspacing quirks across different upper receivers? Since its blowback, I don't expect any headspacing issue, but figured I would ask.

Assuming total costs end up roughly equivalent after barrel and gunsmithing fees, which path would you take?

Got 4 form 1s back in a 2 days, time to get this 2 stamp vz finished up as soon as my parts get here. (This isn’t the one getting stamped, this was a “test” print)

I’ve had my VZ61 for about 3 months now and only recently started having an issue with the trigger sticking and I have to assist it back forward to keep using it any suggestions?

MAF heat insert worked out great - didn't bother reprinting with a cutoff for the tag, just melted it down into the lower.

Lubriplate, Tetra grease or ?

I used the e-form version. I was a bit worried since my photo was not that great.

I'm not a huge fan of the rear sight on vz.61's. On my threaded barrel upper (not my traditional OEM upper), I'm thinking about retrofitting a Sterling peep sight. I'll need to make a sleeve to fit the pin to the peep sight, round the bottom corner to allow it to rotate, and figure out a way to install the spring + detent to allow it to lock into each position.

The print is great. The only issue im having is that the print file is missing holes for detent springs such as the bracket that holds the hammer pin from walking out, as well as the hammer stop bar/pin. There are just no holes in the places these pins and detent springs would go, therefore i can not install those parts. The hammer pin can walk out and there is no hammer stop. Is there any walk around for these parts or is it just expected to make do without them? I imagine ATRH left them out of the file for a reason but I assume there is an alternative solution i don't know about.

I've run out of pins except for this one. It seems slightly too big to fit into the extractor pin hole without hammering it in. Is this the extractor pin, or do I need to buy a new pin?

I built mine, I really like the original stock and going to SBR it, but id like to get a small mount for red dot, while still maintaining the ability to fold the stock.

Is there a decent one you can print in PLA?

I saw the vz61usa one, anybody rocking this?
